lets vote, all in favor of the like button back please post your vote!!!

the like button allows people to tell someone they read and liked what they said without having to post a reply, RIU claims that it is using too many resources but wouldnt people posting a reply to a thread just to say "like what you said man" be using the same amount of resources, if not more? i dunno, either way i miss it!!!

i say everytime we "like" a post we should reply "like" :leaf:

the amount of people that do this will surely cause more "resources" used and maybe we can get it back.

I have a few suggestions but would rather not put them out there because i dont know how this site operates, but this site does get alot of traffic and from what i read is doing fairly decent financially. if they want to stop losing people to other sites they really should step it up, but hey thats just my opinion.

the problem is the like was a good way to keep track on conversations and get peoples attention

i have to open every forum to check threads i posted on and if someone post on a thread wanting info from me i miss it if it gets buried.

yeah i agree, i post on alot of threads and when people like what i said i can return to that thread easily from the like interface to see what they said and if they have another question i can answer it. now i find myself not following up on peoples threads and they probably get lost in forum history unanswered
