Yay or nay for Miracle grow

We have all heard, and some of us know that MiracleGrow is not good for what we use it for. Now i dont use it and dont plan on it. But i got to thinkin and thought it would be good to establish the truth once and for all!!! Lets hear some opinions please.

Mine is no!

Theres a reason even ppl who dont grow shit know what miracle grow is. B/C it works!!! Buy some miracle grow potting soil and watch yur plants take off, no nutes needed. You can go through the veg stage with no nutes and have beautiful, lush plants. Flowering stage calls for a little ferts. I stand by it 100%!!!

Well there has gotta be a reason some people are against it!!!!!!

I use Scotts potting soil and feed em nutes and get excellent results. I think i read a thread about this already but cant remember what the conclusion was.

I use miracle grow moisture control, and only problem I have is gnats! Any ideas besides baking my soil

Nay, I saw alot nute burn with MG, switched over to Oceon forest and they grew into monsters

Personally I have no experience with Miracle-Gro, but I have heard many people I trust throughout my life say it works better than just soil....that being said I would only try their "Organic" soils.......It seems to me that any product that is labeled "organic" only means that the previous product is not organic. So clearly there are some type of synthetic chemicals in regular miracle-gro...and personally I think almost everything is better when it is not synthetically altered.

So I say nay to regular Miracle-Gro and a "will try" on the organic Miracle-Gro

MG works great for me.. i only have one question... how hard is it to flush a plant thats in MG?

id say m.grow was ok for vegg once a week, but youll need proper food, if you want good buds. not m. grow buds.
it doesnt do what it says on the bottle. grow 2 times the size, well not with bud.

I use miracle grow plant food , says on the bottle for noticeable more blooms
I use it 1/4 strenght. doin the job for me.

how far on are you with your grow, and how often do you feed.
how come you need to flush, have you over fed, or are you late on into 12/12?.

i tryed m.grow all the way through a grow, and the buds were shit, when i posted the harvest pics.
everyone said. m.grow does it again."load of shit, for 12/12, ok for vegg,at 1/4 str. 1 time a week.
but its rubbish for 12/12, flowering. it doesnt have the proper,amount of foods for 12/12.
if you dont belive me, get some proper food, grow 2 plants,along side each other, feed 1 with m.grow and 1 with proper 12/12 food. and youll know what i mean.
it pays to get the proper food, and not just making do with m.grow.
like i said, it doesnt do what it says on the bottle.

i used mg for about 2 months, before the ph went completly haywire, my plants started turning yellow. I flushed and i flushed to no avail, my plants didnt snap out of their yellowing. Now ive switch soils to a ph balanced sterilized soil, my plants are still yellow, but new growth is coming in green, stems are not purple anymore neither.

I think mg is the worst soil out there, once the miracle runs out, yer screwed!!

My opinion:
Is it possible to grow highly enjoyable and smokable weed with Miracle Grow? Yes.
Is it the most ideal soil and/or food for marijuana? No.

i spent 4 hours sifting through my miracle grow soil taking out those nute balls,( i got some issues) then i mixed half w/ cow manure composte and transplanted into big storage bin. plants seem to like it so far... 45 days of veg i have 4 bushy plants 18'' tall, under 6-42watt cfls
i am by no means an expert, but i have heard/read/experienced, that starting with a soil w/low nutes and then adding as needed is the way to go.
so i would say yay, starting with MG can be risky and less productive, but for someone who is just getting started growing, and is not that knowledgable, it may be a good learning experience, but not the ideal medium for most strains.

forgot to add that according to seemorebud's book - if you are using miracle grow, use water with a pH of 7.4

I use MG and add flora nova and flouralicious to supplement as I am in 6 weeks flowering. The plants look great. As far as flushing.. just when they are done and i want to flush the plants out so they taste better and dont have ferts in them.

who says m.grow grows cannabis plants all the way through, and has good buds,at the end, then show there grow"just m.grow all the way" i dont think it can be done, its not the rite food for all the way, just maybe vegg.
