Im almost 3 weeks in to flowering and i got high fell asleep and theres one light which isnt on a timer and i left it on fuckkkkkkkkkkk i herd plants might go hermie if u stress them is this a possibility with mine i hope not bc there looookin good??????????????

please help me i jus need a quick answer
 
well, it's definitly a possibility, but one night of added light i think you should still be in the green, ganja is quite resiliant. just be more careful next time :mrgreen:
or smoke after ya turn off the lights bongsmiliebongsmilie

you will be fine, but what grower doesn't use a timer for their lights. get 2 if you need em, it takes way less thought. late
 
only time will tell but you should be OK. like everyone else says -- either leave the light off or get a timer.
 
fuck 3 plants hermied i cant believe that, that is crazyy i cut all the branches off bc the tops arent hermied ?? weird but will they producs bud?

this is like the 3rd person ive seen say "youll be fine" after someone fucks up their light cycle. people, please listen - plants definately risk hermying when you even give them 1 hour of extra or lack of light. look at what he just posted, he got hermies - i didnt even have to read to the bottom of the page to know this would happen. there was another thread on another section just like this, his situation was different though. but seriously, im a little tired of ppl being so naive about what stresses plants. there are LOTS of strains where you can mess up the light cycle, but not all genetics are the same. especially genetics where there are alot of crosses, the stability is put into question simply because certain strains have certain phenos that are prone to hermying if stressed a certain way - this is simple science, ive seen different strains hermie under certain conditions where light fluctuation was involved through many of my & my buddies grows - where over 10 strains were involved each time.

bro, i feel your pain. this happened to me on my first grow, i slept in 3 hours and they hermied. however, the weed was AWESOME!!!! and it did crackle a little bit, but the seeds were teeny tiny cus it hermied on about day 30. since youre only 3 weeks in though, i really dont know how big the seeds are gonna get. you'll still have good weed, STOP CUTTING OFF BRANCHES!!!! youre gonna make it hermie again.
 
well will they pollinate my other girls if i leave them in there? and move them under my flurecent lights i guess to do 12.12 or will they be fine in the room?
 
fluoros produce whispy/mediocre weed, the only ppl who will back those up are the cfl thumpers who suck. unfortunately, it will pollenate your other girls IF they continue to hermie and produce bananas, id leave them under the fluoros for 1 week and constantly check daily for bananas. if after the week all is well, move them back into the room.
 
so ur saying one night with the lights on ...and three!!! plants hermied?do you know for sure these wernt hermies before? ...wow that nuts ....doesn anyone know of this happening ...like what are the odds of this happening if the light cylce is somhow disrupted?
 
Damn sorry to hear that, bro. I left my lights on for 48 hrs a couple of days ago. I'm praying I don't get any hermies...So far it's been good.
 
very high odds, and yes this is very common. the chances are extremely high for light cycle disruptions = hermie

That's what I was thinking...I've never heard of something like that happening b4...They might have already been hermies...It should of taken longer than that for it to go hermie.
 
Well i would have also said they will be fine. I have been messing with my plant every way i can for weeks hoping it would make some fem seeds and aftter many weeks and the plant being about ready to harvest it started to grow some new branches, aka reveg a lil. Mine wont hermie no matter what, im unhappy
 
so this might just be a repeat of the original question, i'm growing in the same room as my computer, and i always shut the monitor off at night, but the other night i left it on.... and it was on the whole 12 hrs of darkness. i'm at 8 days flowering and they do look good as well. you mentioned certain strains stress easier than others, im growing bag weed, any comments? am i gonna have the same missfortune? hermies?
 
Weed is tough and can handle a little shit no prob. I think they hermi out because it was a hermi or came from one. I beat the shit out of my plants and they dont drop nuts. But the light cycle is priority number one thing to watch and be careful with. A timer is the way to grow.
