New York City Diesel(nycd) 5 weeks flowering first grow

hey this is my first grow 5 weeks into flowering this NYCD is a sativa dominate and flowers for ten weeks. so i am about half way through. i experimented by topping and super cropping some mostly to keep canopy level and even .i am using foxfarm tiger bloom, superthrive, superbloom (got at lowes), cal mag,and molases. the soil that i am using suck ass it was just cheap potting soil from lowes and i added some perlite but still sucks oh well remember that for next grow. i had a 1000 watt dual arc for all of veg and 1 st week flowering but that blew so i had to flower with first night with a 175 watt mercury vap bulb that i took out of a backyard light. then got my ass to lowes and bought a 400watt metal halide .hell i figured i need a new veg bulb for next grow. that was okay in till my 1000w hps came in from ebay four days later . fuck those dual arcs the glass shattered on the 400w metal halide part of the light . the glass was not made of good quality but was only 40 bucks. i used all these bulbs in my 1000 watt ballast i built from a kit for 80 bucks.i use a small Blizzard house hold fan that has a built in thermostat to give a breeze to the top of canopy. i use a 4 in boat bilge blower that was 20 bucks ebay the only thing is that it runs on 12v dc so i got a power supply from goodwill for 5 bucks mounted to a old computer fan to keep it cool so i can draw more amps from it.i put a 4 foot florescent across the side that i have no wall on this seems to help. my room is to big for my one light so i built a wall that i can move to help reflect light on the one side. my room in the basement so i painted all walls and floor white and put a 10 by 10 piece of mylar on the ceiling. my biggest expenses was the clones. give some feed back or comment about anything.

Looking good brother. If that is anything like the diesel I been puffin on the past couple weeks then she is super stinky. I could have a gram in my pocket and stink up a 20 ft radius no lie. I'm a big fan of diesel and sour diesel some of my favorite smokes.

yeah , there is 12 plants i hope 2lb but settle for anything over 1lb.

anybody else has a guess on the yield or has anybody else grown this pheno type and know how much the bud will swell

Looking pretty. Not sure on yield, but you are pretty close for that size of plant (1-2lbs).

yeah they are in a sealed room vented outside and there is still a stink coming from the basement

I'm growing 1 fem NYCD now and it is probably the healthiest plant in my garden. I'm just about a month into flower and the colas are really starting to fill in nicely. Here are a few pics taken a few days ago...









If you can, please post up some more pics as your plants progress...I like having someone to compare my plants with!

yeah i will, i dont know what my pheno type it is but i know it nycd yours looks pretty close to mine you problably veg a little longer and might get taller. i think i might turn mine purple since if have access to cold temp since it winter. do you have info on where you got that strain from

i dont know if it was from soma. i seen nycd from soma looks a tade bit different . could be that i kept my plants short. i got the clones from a guy did not bother to ask . i was new in to all these strains and pheno types.

i think jerry garcia pictures at the top of the page is from soma. the pistol growth is different than mine at the beginning of flowering mine was more sporadic and his looks more uniformed. jerry garcia if you are out there can you tell us if that what yours is.
