DIY HERB DRYER what dew think? what could i change?

I want to dry my weed in my (air filtered) tent so I can manage odour
(The bud in pic is shit i know iv the proper stuff on its way)


Was thinking of putting a fan near the box so air inside gets refreshed.

its upto you really, plus your using a fan which will move the air around the bud and dry them out abit quicker, give it a go man what can go wrong?

I think thats a good design. I might add an exhaust pc fan in there just to pull some light air through. I would definitely keep them in darkness. Also I prefer to trim it to smaller nugs, wet stems may invite mold.

what kind of cloth is that????

They might stick to the cloth material....

hi mate myadvice mate dont try rushing this part mate it needs doing right n think as been pointed out ya need darkness the right temp n ro% n a bit of patients rush it n ya cud loose the lot ow n dont have fans pointing at ya bud yal get rot ! id hang it in dark cubby with a fan at bottom!

I would just hang them up... I tried something similar and the buds stuck to the material and i lost a lot of trichomes on it.
I didn't want to put the material in my bubble bags either so i just tossed them.

Its garden crop fleece very cheap from most stores with a garden section.

Thanks to for the advice il take it in to consideration

I know what damage light can do to THC so the lids always on. The fan is oscillating round near the box so the bud don't dry to fast (want a smooth smoke). Il also cut all buds of the branches as for the material beening sticky il see how it go's this time.

Remember I said the bud is crap well I had smoked some this morning and its half strength of good bud' So prob just make some cannabutter I saved the good trimmings because I read they got lots of cannabinoids that work better when extacted for eating.

Gonna make me a big lol maybe some brownies

It took 55 hrs to dry evenly (2 and abit days) bare in mind the buds were thin and not very thick. Now Im thinking the buds of my good plant are 3 and and 4 times thicker and larger so it SHOULD take 3 to 4 times longer about a week and thats what i was hoping for.

Whats anybody think????

dipends on wat ya got planned 4 em if its a cash crop give em week hung n week in brown paper bags rolled loosly then see how they r? if there 4 smoke 4 ya sen gi em 10 days hung about same in paper bag n then jar em burping em so they dont go moldy n if they show dampness at eney stage drop back one ok mate?

Ended up hanging em in a dark space temps are around 75f though day and around 65f at night. I have a small extractor fan to pull fresh air in and is keeping the smell under control too' thier is also a 9" fan but that is at the bottom of the cupboard (not blowing on the buds) guessing and hoping that they'l be dry in about 7 days some of the buds are proper thick like 1.5 inch and more thick so prob longer?????

I have no hydrometer so just to make sure its about right I'v put a bowl of salt to obsord some of the moisture in the air.

The buds in the early pics are not the ones im hanging just to make clear
