using the SUN and cfl?

this is my first grow. im new here and i have a noobie question.

i want to accomplish 24hr lighting for the veg cycle, but i want to save $$$ on my electric bill. so can my plant sit in the sun for 6hr a day and then be put it back into its hiding place with cfl.

i dont think this should have any weird effects, but i've never done this i dont want to screw it up

What is the total wattage of the CFL's you are using?

I'm sure you could do this but I would grow them under the lights until they are a few inches tall then just pop them out during the day and back in in the evening .I can't see it doing anything bad probably better for the plants

thx for the help.

my wattage for veg(24/0) will be 160w, when they flower(11/13) it will be 250w. im trying to maxamize the $$$ i can add to my power bill, not much i know but i think the plant will really take off during flowering with 250w, thats all for one plant too lol.

Hope it works out for you man, grow some nice fat nugs
