My First Grow ! Bubbleponics !

Just got everything i needed to start on this adventure..
6.5x6.5x8 tent
2 600w hps lights
digi ballast
sh 24 planter.
carbon filter and can fan..
Will be getting clones in a few days !

So now im just waiting for the clones.. I will probably be getting master kush and og kush. But im not 100 percent sure.! But i will start with 24 then order another 24 soon there after. But i will be building my own setup instead of ordering another planter. I will Post some pics when the clones come !

very nice, im very jelous ......lol how do u find the cool tube light does in make a big dif in heat i was gonna mke my own but i dont got nearly as much room as u

I got the lights threw htg supply.. They have pretty good prices on evertyhing. And the air cooled hood does make a big difference. :hump:

Without the hood the temps go up into the 90's and with them 78-84.. ;-)

kk scene wicked thanks for the reply man, the one im builgind my self is outta a extra 1000 w light an some 6 inch vent tubing and a 6 inch tube fan ,if i finish tonite ill post my pics. there instuction to it in the FAQs of roll it up

Nice !! Those 1000watters are strong ! and put out alot of heat.. ! But with the right venting you will be good ! And thanks for stopping by !

Going to pick up my clones today.. Wasnt able to get master kush or og.. but i got 6 purple kush .. and 15 snow cap.. Will see how that goes.. Anyway i will have a update with pictures and details in a few hours kids.. sit tight grab a :joint:

So here they are.. 14 snow cap clones.. and 6 purp kush :weed:

and one lonely master kush :spew:

I Have not started them on nutes yet.. Using my hps with adjustable ballast (Lumatek) and running them at 50% for now. Still need a ph meter. And I think im going to roll with fox farm nutes. But im not to sure yet. More then welcome to some suggestions on the nutes. Some of the clones look they are just ready to say fuck this and die lol.. But i hope too see them doing better within a couple of days. Heres some pics !

Looking nice dude I just have one suggestion if I may
Shortening the ducting in between the lights and straightening out those curves would help cool things better and be much much easier on the fan

Yeah I did get a little crazy on the ducting lol. But I have read that less bends in the ducting does help the air circulate better. So I guess im going to have to shorten when I have sometime.. or when im not high.. :hump:

And I just set up these clones no more then and hour ago and already then are showing signs of getting better.. SO CRAZY unexplainable! Most of the leafs were saggin and life less .. But now they are slowly lifting up and tryin to get to the light!! Wow is all i can say !!!

So I have had the clones going for 4 days now. They are all looking better then what they were. My temps in the room have been bouncing around from 75-83 degrees.. Is this ok ? and humditiy has been on the lower side also at 40. Thinking of buying a humdifier.! Anyway so I got some nutes yesterday botanicare nutrients. Got a little anxious and did two planters at 3/4 strenght of the seedling recommend doseage. 2 others at full strenght of the seedling recommend. They didn't respond much at first but then this morning I checked to the see if the roots are growing and to my surprise mostly all of the roots are shooting threw the net pots now. Before I think 2 of the tall snowcaps were showing but just barley. In one of my buckets tho I do have some foam build up. Just curious to know if this is not good ? If so the cure ? And heres some pics of the babies ! More then open to comments or ideas !

Debating on switching them to 18/6.. or leave them at 24/0. I raised the power on the ballast to 75% to get more lumens out of the lights. Did make the heat go up under the plants so i raised them up a inch or two. And all seems fine. The roots look really healthy. They are growing really quick too ! Couple of slow ones still but im hopeful they will get going again.. ! Heres some pics..

So when i first got these clones they looked pretty bad.. Like the tree they were cut from were bad to being with. But a friend just gave them to me so i said whatever and just took them. But i thought the leaves were a little dry and discolored from the tree they were clones from. But I found a little spider looking bug crawling along one of the planters.. Did a little research and seen the symptoms of spider mites and realized thats what i have.. I read pest strips work ? and different methods.. But im not to sure on which to use.. If anyone has advice let me know please .. ASAP !

Just switched to 18/6. Hope to get the mites under control tomorrow...! And get a ph meter to change out my res. Didnt like the drops to much. To much of the guessing game with those. But yeah hopefully they get some growth with the lights off..

Did a water change.. And lowerd the ballasts power again. Becuase heat was bouncing around to much. I gotta figure a way to vent the heat instead of pushing it into the same room. And will be fogging the room for those little bastard spiders. Also got some other stuff from the store also to kill those aholes.. Azamat I think it was. And dr. doom fogger ! They all are looking healthy. I trimmed some really bad yellow and spider infested leafs yesterday. I think they were to the point of no return. All the green faded out and the spider mites looked like they were having a 3 kegger there haha... But all the roots are looking good. Just hope to stop the spread of the mites... Any feed back is appreciated.. :hump:

Fogged the room last night with the dr.doom. Turned off the fan's lights and opened the tent doors and set the fogger off. Left it in there for 2 hours. Then came back and turned everything back on. Plants seemed fined. They really loved getting fresh water yesterday. And the air bath they get while they are waiting does help. They all got a nice little growth boom. All and all everything is well in 3 or 4 days i will dunk the plant in azamat. And hopefully that will kill the eggs of the spider mites..

So the fogger worked really well. It slowed those mites down. I had a little nute burn and the temps was getting to hott during the day. Got a couple fans so will see how that goes. Havn't used the azamat yet. I will change out the rez'z tomorrow. And give it the right amount of nutes this time. There roots are looking good. And they seem healthy other then burning the tips a bit. Heres some pics.. :leaf:
