Autoflower 12/12 at the end?

I'm growing some Easy Ryder (AK47xLowryderII) and Afghan Kush Ryder.

I know that you CAN grow them under 20/4 (what i'm using) or 18/6 or 24/0 etc etc all the way until harvest, but can I switch to 12/12 for the last 4 weeks to get BIGGER buds?

I would love it if anyone has any experience with this. Otherwise I will stay with what I have now, and try it next time.

You can switch to 12/12 but you won't get bigger buds. Maximum light = max energy. I advide 24/7 for autos but would stay on what you are on.

I agree with the above poster. My lowryder 2 grow was split up, 4 to hps on 12/12 and 1 on floros 24/0.....The hps ones stretched a lot...much taller than normal (30-34")and budded well.....the one under floros is still small (18")and a full stick of bud! At this point, 2 weeks till harvest, the floros lr2 appears to have MORE bud.......This kinda flies in the face of what one would be led to believe between the two light types. I intend to report the actual weight difference in my thread " 1st grow lucky"....

Max light = max energy makes sense, but don't buds form at night?
Has anyone tried switching to 12/12 during the last weeks of budding?

im growing Short Rider that is suppose to be an autoflower from Nirvana and it dint even BUD untill i put her in 12/12. dont know whats up with that. but you can try it and find out
