noticed yesterday that 1 of my 8 plants i got going and am training to grow as many shoots a possible (bending the main stem sideways) also somewhat known as Super Croping, it works good every time, but for the first time i found a brokin branch! :wall: it's the main and broke at the lowest bend! :-( i turned the tie down wires to hold it up, got more growth outa it over night thankfully.. .. is there anything i can do? will it continue to grow like it seems to be? should i put something (brace) under the branch? the pics show a good one and the broken one for comparison :leaf:

Hey you'll be alright prop it up or tie it up to remove weight from branch it will heal itself I've split the stem near the bottom it exploded I wrapped it with some old tee shirt after like 5-6 days it was almost completly fixed it will stun plant and it will be smaller than the other girls but it will fix itself it won't look preaty it will have a scar ....lst is good for that stuff good thing plants are equipt for that sort of thing and recover well :) and if your growing sideways I use clones and plant them at a 45 deg angle then start to bend jus my 2 cents less stress on stem

yeh, like he said youll be fine. But lemme ask ya this - do you top at all when you lst?? Im askin cuz what you could do, rather than tying down the main stem is, once you top and the branches grow back out, you could start tying down all of the branches that will become the tallest on the plant - the new top colas as a result of your topping. Rather than tying down the main stem and risking breaking them again, you could just tie down the offshoots, and still keep the plant low, but at the same time you can make sure that no serious damage comes to the plant.

check out my journal bro, the plants arent the prettiest cuz its bagseed n i had a couple other problems along the way, but tied down the plants are shorter than 11 inches, 4-5 weeks from harvest. Untied they would be almost 2 feet tall.

Now, i know you can accomplish the same thing doin it y0ur way, but thats pretty much what im sayin - you can accomplish the same thing doin it ether way, but youll risk less by just tying down the branches rather than the stem..

By the way, your plants are lookin lush and green as fuck man. seriously beautiful. I cant wait to see them finished bro. +rep

i'm only doing the mother plants sideways, well, these ones to be sexed and get the most clones off the final females. and right on, thought it still looked healthy, i'll wrap it with something for sure and make a brace for the wieght, wuz almost gonna just hack her off and clone as much off the broken part as possible. and hay, that 45 degree angle with the clones! fukn eh i gotta try that! thanks for the perfect advice! and yes i do top them, havn't yet, but do, i'm gonna be going sog this time so just need clone makers :leaf:
