I thought you were happy with your light and you agreed that HID and CFL both do a better job but that didn't matter you just wanted to compare notes with other growers that owned the same light.
By the way you keep defending it to the bitter end and trying to find out what the definition of "is" is, I'd say you bought the light and aren't happy with it at all and are trying to prove it has some value to make yourself feel better.

i never agreed hid and cfl were better i just said i would buy a hps to save the money and arguements like this with ppl who dont have the light and really no experience with how it actually works and u guys were proving me wrong so if u bring up the article put a link to back it up or its worth less talk to me..as for my grow im actually stoked on the light and think its going pretty well for my standards

in my opinion led is absolutely better then cfl but hps is a dif thing..in that case hps is better but the quality and resin production the led creates is pretty much unbeatable...i can pretty much bet my final product will look danker then urs under ur hid or cfl...

Very well put! Short, to the point and accurate (IMHO).
It should be made appearent to everyone interested that people aren't jumping on board the LED "bandwagon" because LED's are better, they are just different - they offer a whole new way to think about grow lights. If anyone's interest is just to find which light works best, at this point, it's HID's. The more you know about light,LED's become more interesting because they show some promising properties - on an experimental level, I think LED's are a lot more fun because people are just now starting to use them in ways that take advantage of their strengths.
HID's have been around for a long time. They weren't invented as "grow lights", and any improvement in that direction has been rather modest - you might say that they are "at the top of their game". The best of the HID bunch might be the Ceramic Metal Halide (CMH), or the bulbs that combine MH and HPS together. The question is, how much better is HID technology going to get? Nobody seems too interested in advancing the light technology or the application methods for using the technology as grow lights. Granted, they work just fine, but this stagnation is B-O-R-I-N-G!
On the other hand, LED growlights were unheard of 'till about ten? years ago. People, in larger numbers, are starting to play with them and learn how to use them better and the technology is improving as newer, more improved, models come out. Nobody is saying that LED's work better for growing (especially cannabis). But, a lot of us believe that the advances that are being made with LED's are a hell of lot more exciting! Will LED's ever, really, be better than HID's? - I hope so, but the truth is, nobody knows! It's all about following the experiments and seeing what's going on here and now!

Im releasing fotos...after my grow is done.....for safety reasons....(you all could be feds) and when its done....you know what.....a bunch of fuck sticks will say it isnt true......ok.
Im doing....and currently flowering under 300 watts led. When the grow is done....and the pics are submitted....shaddap.
its proven....despite the "blahbedeeeblahbala"s" that the yield from leds is actually better thc wise....than hps(science proves it) You may get better yields from hps....but...isnt the world looking for stronger.......not more?

I hadn't even posted on this thread for 2 weeks and you are the dumbshits that keep bringing my name up, if you didn't really want to argue with anyone or had a life you'd just shut the fuck up.
Supply us the link proving that LED's provide more THC content or are you just repeating more advertising crap.
The reason I prefer HPS and MH and CFL over LED is because they all three produce better results everytime. The only reason to use LED's right now is if you are on the space shuttle and have limited electrical supply or just a dumbshit like yourself.
