The guy at the local hydro store sold me this oasis 1" x 1" 102 cell tray, a tray that holds the oasis medium (they arent really cubes) and I think your supposed to fill it with water and a humidity dome. Ive been looking around on line for some oasis soil grow tutorials and found one but it wasnt really what I had in mind. Cant I root the cuttings in this stuff first then transplant them into soil? I feel kind of lost using this method. Theres so many ways to take clones properly and thers one for oasis cubes I just cant find any. Heres pics of what im workin with.

Should definitely be ok putting those in soil, I don't see why not? The roots will come out the sides. Then going into the soil...looks like a good setup for me :) Been looking for a soil cloning machine...

LOL.... what I want to know is what is that thing on your floor in picture one? Looks like an animal rolled up in a blanket..... almost like a fox  is that a dog???

Im more interested in how I can get the clone to root IN THE TRAY rather than putting the cube into a big soil container. Im looking for roots in tray, then soil containers. I want to use the standing water tray and the humidity dome.

Thats kitty shes hella lazy and old and likes to sleep sprawled out on her back. I have to throw her out of my grow room all the time She has arthritis and likes the warm light. And probly the vegitation.

I use small peat pots with soil in them to start the clones in a tray with a dome on it. I bury them in soil when the roots start popping out the sides and bottom of the peat pots-usually about 10-14 days. So far-so good, I've only done it with about 15 clones so far but it's been 100% successful. I would think that these cubes would work much the same way.

thats kinda what Im talking about, I was just wondering if I can use the standing water tray, the dome and the 1" x 1" strangely shaped oasis cubes to at least show roots before moving them to soil. If not I'll buy a new fucking set-up.

I don't see why not, just don't let the roots dry out at all once they pop out of the cube and get them into soil.

Can somone explain how to presoak these or water them or whatever? and I dont know how to use the flat that it comes with for the standing water. All I remember is that the water should be about 1/4 inch deep. How many days does it need to be in contact with the standing water? And how many days of using the humidity dome?

just did some research and found out that oasis are PH neutral. Man, if only there was a cloning forum I could have had answers like this right away and could be off and cloning. Instead im too scared to take any because I dont know how to use the setup. I think Im just gonna call the people who sold me this shit and ask them how to go about using it. I got a whole bunch of clones to make.
