Trailer Park Bagseed CFL Grow

Ok, so I have been through the ringer and I have come around to now, thoroughly disgusted with the actions of others that lead to the dissolution of my previous project and my current situation, which has me doin the "by any means necessary" thing.....So here it is.

I have put together a small CFL DWC Grow, using available lighting and equipment that I already have in my posession. I will journal this grow here as we progress, and I will start from this point on with my Nute ratio's and time changes ect......I will also post links to the youtube vids I post (If I do Post them.....Narc) and I will do my best to keep up the logistics of the grow.......So without further Delay, here we go...............................

My dimensions are 4.5' X 2' X 2'

Lighting (as you will see in the pics) is: 8-23w (100w eq) 2700k CFL's, 2-43w (150w eq) 2700k CFl's, and 1-125w (300w eq ) 6700k "GH" CFL......(280w=1800w of light-space) (don't know the LUMENS, but I will figure that out as we progress) .....I plan on upgrading my lighting as I go along, being that I am going from using HPS 2400w, to far less space and
alot of research and perspective.......I am going to do my best to put HPS to rest....just sayin.

October 4.jpgOctober 23.jpgOctober 14.jpgOctober 36.jpg

I use various pumps and air setups, so I will answer the first obvious question to that affect now....I have a 60w 70l Active Aqua pump running 4-4' Active Aqua disc's ( I also have a .7l running in my (not finished) baby space.

Thus far I am three weeks into this or so, I have 4
Bagseed-Babies growin in the box, two are 4 days or so behind the others, and I plan on vegging until I have enough branching to clone each plant and flip the time to 12x12 to see who pops up FEmale.

I am going to incorporate the LUCAS method to some degree, though I may
Vary things Due to the nature of my OCD :wall: (DOCTORS NOTE NOT ATTACHED) and I will keep you all aprised of the WHAT WHERE and WHY as we go along.

Just started my Nute run w/ 500 ppm (.35 ec) @5.7 pH

I will post as many pics :weed: as I am allowed to here, being that I know a picture is worth a thousand words, and I am kinda JADED to the fact that there is alot of lip
:dunce:service going on in the world and I will put the proof in the puddin', so to speak.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I may take awhile to answer sometimes, so don't get snippy, I have la life Ya know.

:!:........Today's Update Photos.............I may be flippin these two over to 12x12 soon, the roots are hangin' but not deep enough for me to rely on just the nute solution. Right now the 185 pump is doin the nute spray thing from below.........as soon as the roots are in the pond I will flip it and Pray for Females.........I really would like to Clone them both first, but I am gettin impatient.....:hump:

Ok, so I think its time to start playin with the growth pattern, I know that most people at this point would start an LST program, so that is what I do, but I go about it a bit different......I am not looking to alter the plants natural upward growth, what I am going to do is provide lighting to the sides of the plant and let them grow out as opposed to up (and up as well of course.

I have a loop and have been looking for pre-flower calyx, though I have not been able to determine the sex of either of these two I am still hopeful.

Today's update: 555 ppm (.38804 ec) @5.1 pH 19.6c (I know, that's COLD!!)

Ok, so I have three weeks of growth, (from the showing of roots) and I am going to be switching things around a bit to see who pops up FEmale later on tonight.........

IMG_4100.jpgIMG_4099.jpgIMG_4098.jpg

I will be topping these two and going strait into 12/12 ,which I know alot of you might think is too soon, but as I have said before, this ain't my first Rodeo, and I have a method to my Madness........620 PPM (.4340 ec) @ 6.1pH

I have actually decided to take a lower branch off of either of these two and go 12x12 as of tomorrow............@7pm.................

........ok so I switched it around a bit, I took the two oldest seedlings and gave them each a 15 L RES. Single air stone to each coming from the 70L air pump, and switched the timers to 12/12.

.............no sign yet of gender, it's a bit early to determine though so I will stay on top of it.

So I am keeping a close eye on things, still no positive proof, but I think I may have one lady on the rise, not so sure about the other but no sign is good sign I always say....I upped the ppM a bit and am Lucasing the remainder of the Res until I get through 1500 mL. For those of you who have never done a Lucas Method grow, I mixed an external 1500 mL res @350 ppM and as the water in the plant res's go down, I am adding to them with the external Res, replacing what I have used with just plain ol' water until I go through 1500 mL twice over...............so if the plants use 800 mL tonight, I will fill them both with 400 mL, and replace what I use in the external res with regular water. This way as I replace the plant res water, I use nutes that have thinned out and are now picked up by the rootball quicker, because the plant drinks more water, they get FATTER!! Simple logic. this is my own variation of the Lucas method and it seems to work just fine. Some people add just plain water to the plant res's until they go through the original amount of water, but I find this hard on the plants and not as efficient. Please feel free to argue this with me and by all means show me how fat your plants are, and how you got them that way. As you can see, mine are fat little Lady's (I hope they are both Lady's)

.................I flipped the bigger Plant to tha back so that I can keep an eye on the smaller one now, I am pretty sure of the calyx on the larger, now its Baby Boo's turn......I also removed a little lower foliage to prevent rot and disease from forming, I will cut some more back when I see it, and as soon as I am sure about the gender I am going to go into the next stage of growth with a bit of a snippin........going to start adding peroxide too................maybe even a tad of Epsom Salts.............MAYBE..........we will see......

..........No pics today, just an update on the Lucas.................I added 1L Of the 1500 mL Res that I have on hand to both PLant res's. or 500mL each @5.1 pH and I will be upping the ppm to 600 or so next go round. I have one more "refill" so to speak that I could do, but I think that these girls may need "MORE POWER", they are very healthy and responding well to the first week of flowering cycle.

…....Ok, so last night I went about ridding myself of a lesser problem that I caught in one of my two “root res's” I got a small culture going, likely due to the Vinegar thing, more likely to be because I haven't wrapped my buckets yet and the light is creepin' in, even though the res temps have been mid-teen's for most of this. So I went about doin a bathtub rinse with my “super duper trusty 8.2 water”©.....IMG_4176.jpg....and then I added some peroxide to quell any further issues that may arise.......

…................roots are nice and kleen, the res has a natural microbe base and I am moving on..............Close_up.jpgIMG_4178.jpgIMG_4168.jpg.....385 ppM (.2772 ec) @ 5.1 pH....17.6°c res temp

….....By the way, for those of you who consider my little bag seed experiment too low of a gene thing ( I don't know if you have been paying attention, but I truly have put this together with some random ass shit and these two (hopeful) ladies are pretty friznuckin' healthy) I purchased a clone, since all of mine went two directions, one (batch) went strait to flower, and one was drown by idiots..............

Close_up2_OG.jpg…..........This little lady we will call Gendah, OG-Kush, for lack of a good Sativa, and I will be turning her into a small banzai tree for the production of clones..............Follow me? No Doubt.
