Advice on Topping/Fimming/Trimming?

Hey fellas, can anybody advise whether or not I should Top or FIM? I'm a first time grower, 3 weeks in and I'd like to make the most out of it as I can.

Also, should I trim any of the small leaf growth or any of the lower fan leaves?

Shes looking nice and healthy , you can top or lst but depending on strain not all like it. I would wait and top the next node if it was me or i would lst her now. Good Luck!

Anytime Blunt , I like both techniques but i've had more success with lst. I feel (THIS IS JUST MY OPINION) it is better to stress your lady as least as possible , cuz at the end of the day we are being greedy trying to get more bud by twisting , cuttting , bending etc.. Lst (Low Stress Training) I FEEL is the best way to get more by doing the least.. Good Luck!

Blunt: I've been a conservative pruner for years, only taking off the wilting or yellowing leaves that would attract insects and disease. My grow area is well ventilated so air circulation has not been a reason to take off fan leaves, and my T-5's are wide enough to cover my grow so they give me enough light. I started fiming for the first time this year after reading, Greg Green's, "CANNABIS GROWER'S BIBLE," Second Edition. He makes it easy enough to understand and do. I was as nervous as a whore in church on Sunday morning the first time but it worked. I started out with one topical bud on each plant and after six fiming cuts I had twelve that resulted in that many fat flowering colas on each plant. My sugar bowl is now full. Follow his instructions and you can't go wrong. I don't know if they sell his book here, but it's certainly worth having. I hope that helps. HSA

What's a dro seed?

I dont like fimming, I've noticed it takes a little longer to get back to a faster growth rate. I top above the second node, leaving me 4 main tops. Then I top each of those new shoots after the first node. 8 tops. Keep going as long as you feel like, depends on strain, height requirements, lighting, time restrictions, etc.

I think its ebonics or gangsta/street for the tweakers to define a hydroponic seed...

I top as well I tried my Sweet Black Angle as non-topped and I will never do that again. I usually top at 8 or 10 main colas and scrog it out..

However, for Mike, I would think a 'dro seed is a seed from a Hydroponic bud that was yielded too early so there for, it still had seeds...just like any strain of hydroponic you grow, they start from a seed...unless I'm wrong?

Actually, I repeated nothing of what you said since I didn't reference "ebonics", "gangsta" or "tweakers" and I was referring to your stereotypes when I said I didn't know what you meant. But, I did define what I thought a dro seed was to somebody who asked, which in turn is why you were stereotyping by the way I described it. Unfortunately, I live to learn and when I'm wrong or missing information, I'd rather be led to the right terminology with help instead of being stereotyped by how I define something. Hey Blunt do not get caught up the back and forth with some of these ppl , its not worth it. Their are a lot of grumpy ingnoramouses on here looking to troll , half of them do not favor americans to begin with. Stick with the ppl looking to help they are out their..Good luck.
