400W Mh/Hps Dwc Scrog Lots of Pics

So I have updated all my equipment and decided to start a journal. I have a 400W MH/HPS switchable ballast with a Sunleaves reflector. Attached is a 260 CFM inline fan that blows the hot air into the wall near the ceiling. I use a 900 gallon air pump for two 3 gallon buckets. For clones and smaller grows I am using two 150W, one 100W, and one 60W CFL. Have mylar where I can. Check out pics and let me know what you think or ask any questions. Started grow on 2/20.

Looks like a good set up. The only thing that doesnt look right to me is the screen. Its a little smaller than most of the ones ive seen. Although ive never done one myself. Anyidea what your temperature / humidity is? Temps actually stay pretty high, but never had a problem. Temp is around 90, even in my CFL grow. I know that sounds like a lot, but some of the world’s best stuff comes from extreme climates, for instance Afghanistan and Central America. Humidity is around 40-50; except for clones which stay at 80-90 humidly. As for the screen, it's 15"x18" with a much smaller screen in the middle. The size is what I could do for the space. The screens have both small and large holes, it doesn't matter the size (ever see a tree grow around a fence?).

Last but not least....the discretion...I have my land lord in here on occasion, I put my dogs in the room, and never had a problem; even when he was here working for a couple hours (had the dogs out that time). Showed the house to the old ladies mom and dad, not a problem, just had to turn off the fans and air pump.

Now for the pics, you may notice that I have weaved the stalks into the screen so they grow sideways. For the potted pot plants, I have them growing sideways for multiple tops. For all of my grows check out my other albums. Enjoy.

So on sunday the lights went out for 36 hours to get the plant in the mood for flowering. 8 Weeks to go (or a couple more)!!! I moved the lil ones from the CFL case to the 400W MH side. Going to change the bulb to HPS in 2 weeks. The MH helps for vegetation and the HPS helps with flowering. I am growing the potted plants on the ground to max the amount of tops and space. Thanks Flo, this is my 6th grow and 2nd DWC. I fucked up the last grow by not checking the ph every few days, and learned a huge lesson. I tried a scrog too, but didn't work out well. But now I have everything working great. I'm about $1200 in, and grown about $3200 worth in the last 2 grows. So...everyone stop buying start growing.

So I've been on 12&12 for 2 days now. And they are stretching like no other. Check out the pics of all those tops dancing in the wind. This will be my best grow yet, I know it. On one picture my finger marks the bottom screen. The tops are almost to the top screen now. When they get to that point I'll weave the tops into the screen once again to keep a small, low profile...allowing me to keep the 400W MH as close as possible. I'll be switching to HPS in a little less than 2 weeks.

And you are absolutely right. sideways is the way to grow! Im on my first LST this grow, and am kicking myself for not doing it every grow!
Will be making a scrog setup for next grow to keep things in control lol

Thanks for noticing...blush. HA. They took forever. I wanted something that would be sturdy and last. PLUS...one of my pitbulls, she likes to eat the fan leaves so I had to make a cage around the ladies.

And LOVE Zeppelin, but who doesn't? (close minded people who only listen to hiphop?)

WEED PORN....I'm out of smoke, trying to wait the 7 or 8 weeks.

So they finally reached the top screen! (Grow my babies)
Check out the S-shaped stem growing.
My lil ones from the CFL box have been flowering for about 3 weeks vs. the 1 week the large ones have been. They have larger pistils as a result.
And the LST potted pot is doing well too, had to put holes in the pots and tie down with hemp. I was using paper clips to hold them down, but weren't cuttin it anymore. Enjoy.

Okay Okay How do I grow sideways? My 1st grow trying to get all info I can?
