hey guys, i know most of you have seen some of the pictures of my last grow, but here is all in order...I owe this grow to the bubbleheads community including roseman, jonnyB, tom 420, and many others. thanks guys

okay so here we have the start, looks pretty weak lol. these are Purlpe haze clones from my friend who has grown it for 10 years.

got 5.5 OZ's from 4 30 inch plants with cfls on my first bubbleponics grow.. not to bad i think.. smokes and taste great. incredible head high
 
Exactly what cfl did u use ... Cause thats lookin excellent for cfls i was thinkin about runnin a 400 watt but after lookin at urs darn im re thinkin
 
When i saud what i mean like which pacage an likr how many lights an lumes of each one
 
Yeah, I second that... what CFLs were you using? Looks like a great strain as well.
I'm about to start a DWC with 8x26W CFLs and possibly some 14 watters on the sides for under growth.
 
i used (4) 65w 2700k CFLs from my local homedepot for 15$ a light plus 7 for the reflector... I ended up with 13 of them

As soon as this lil practice grow is done in a week or two Im settin up my bubbleponic system. Already got all the supplies except nutes.
Mind if I pick your brain a lil??
 
Party sized buds using cfl's! Whoopee! Well done! Outstanding for a first grow any grow! Now you have to live up to your own standards! LOL!

dry weight, you cant see the secondary colas really in the pictures but they make up over half of the weight. i never weigh wet, see no point in it. but yah, if you know what your doing and have the right CFLs, and a lot of them, they do fine

no man, not at all.

i recommend flora nova nutes... really just because, besides stealth hydro nutes, i haven't used anything else

i know, its seems like its gonna be tuff. especially since im losing the veg cycle... so we will see..
 
I wonder if they'll have those nutes at a regular gardening store? I'll have to check, there is no hydro store around here for hours.
I was wondering about your feeding schedule and the res.
Did you have to change out the water any or do you just refill what they drink up?
Do you just add the nutes to some water and throw it in the tank? How often do you feed, or did you follow a schedule that came with nutes?
What would you say a first time bubblehead should know while goin into a grow for the first time and what to look for?
Anything happen unexpected that should be expected?
Basically I need help with the nutes.
If i can't find fox farm or flora nova or any of the hydro foods I see on here, would any hydro food with the right elements work??
I don't feel too comfortable buyin online and leavin a paper trail.
I don't wanna start a setup and end up havin non-useable food.

i would just order what you need online if you cant get from hydro shop. if its not a hydro shop, you probably wont find what you need... every nutes come with their own charts and instructions so you'll be fine... if it is powder, you will have to mix and this can be tough to do right. liquid is much easier.


you dont feed em, they are constantly feeding.. you just watch the ppm(strength) of the nutes using a TDS meter and dispose of old water every1-2 weeks
 
HEY c5rftw UR PLANTS LOOK FREEKIN ALWSOME ... I SEE SOME POST BACK U TOLD ME U USED 65WATT CFL BUT I STILL CONFUSED ... WOULD U MIND POSTIN A PIC OR FEW OF UR LIGHT SET UP BECAUSE THAT WOULD REALLY HELP ME OUT BIG TIME ... SO I COULD SEE THE TYPE OF LIGHT AN UR SOCKETS AN ALL ... DUDES THANKS FOR THE HELP IN ADVANCE UR WAT THIS WEB SITE IS ALL ABOUT ..
