Easy Keif Pressing Technique

So i've been pressing my kief this way for a bit now and many of my roommates/friends were really impressed with how easy and efficient it is so I have decided to create a thread about it.

All that is required is:

A glass bottle (like a sobe bottle or a wine bottle, something that can be sealed with water inside)
Warm-Hot water
Cellophane or a similar plastic sheet
0.25-3.0 grams of kief
A clean work space.

Begin by gathering all necessary items...

I have tea steeping in my hot water ha, kill two birds with one stone... Once all items have been acquired, empty the kief onto the work space.

Cover the kief with the plastic.

Taking the bottle, and paying mind if its been filled with really hot water, begin compressing the kief. Don't apply too much pressure at this point. After a few light compression, you can begin pressing increasingly harder.

If done properly, the kief should begin flattening out.

If the kief begins getting too thin for your liking, fixing its as easy as peeling it off the plastic and folding it over itself. Once its been folded to a more appropriate thickness, place it down and do a couple more compressions.

Your final product should look something like this..

Sometimes the kief gets a little warm from the bottle. When this happens, it kind of starts sticking to the plastic. To combat this, simply take an ice cube (or anything cold for that matter) and cool the sticky spots down

Kief is very easily stored and becomes more easily transportable in a waffer form. Hope this helps!

this is really nice. ive seen this question pop up all the time. i do something similar but the bottle idea is great. do you have any problems with it sticking to the paper? is there a reason you use only 1 sheet of plastic isntead of 2 so both sides could be covered?

Thanks, I have never really had any problems with it sticking to the paper, but 2 pieces of plastic definitely wouldn't be a bad thing.
