Shit,i just looked in the grow faq & there isnt even a proper tutorial showing how to make a carbon filter,videoman no longer participates on the site & his pics are gone 
This is a great site but the grow faq sucks balls & the search function is worthless,time needs to be spent by a mod or admin revamping the grow faq before it can be pointed to for newbs to get info,hell some of the shit in the faq is not even based on scientific information,more like a group of wives tales.

you guys are hilarious. i would try one of these apposed to the cat piss idea. active carbon = no smell
a 10x12x8 room = 960 cubic feet. i would suggest getting 2 500 cfm inline fans with 2 nice carbon filters.. htgsupply.com
set one up on each side of the room and you should be aok.. probably run you about 400 bucks plus shipping.. 400 bucks is a lot cheaper than a few years in the pen tho
