Sock Drawer Grow. Big Bud & Lemon Skunk & Mystery Seed

Hey guys, this is my first grow, inside the house. I wanted to see how I would do at first, before I start to get serious and move to a larger scale.

Seed Strains:
  • Greenhouse Lemon Skunk - Feminized
  • Doggies Big Bud #1 - Feminized
  • Unknown (Bagseed)

I'm growing in a perlite medium, and using a small hempy bucket system. As you can see the big bud has just started to germinate, the unknown bagseed was something i had growing on a windowsill in potting soil, I transplanted it to the full perlite, after cleaning the roots and dipping it in root booster to help the transition.

You can see where the bamboo skewers are, thats where the main stems are to grow from, to further support.

I should note that I'm planning to flower after the first week. I'm limited on space, and I just want to see how good this hempy bucket system is, as I'm still deciding whether to put in the effort for a full hydro system or whether this hempy bucket will work. I'll post my updates as I go along, enjoy :).

Hey guys sorry I havn't made an update in awhile, I actually forgot I made this thread since I was like stoned when I made it, and was in the middle of making another before I realized this existed. Anyway update on developments since last time.

Bagseed is coming along, growth is nice and its been put into flowering this last week. Unfortunately my lemon skunk died, dehydration... somehow? roots failed to propagate :(. So I just planted another Big Bud :), I've moved them to the windowsill, since my only indoor grow box is now a flowering room, I plan to turn these into mothers, and just have them veg out.

Bagseed:
It's starting to get some green mold on the top layer of perlite it's only at the top, can any hempy bucket vets advise, have they experienced this, is it dangerous, should I transplant?

I used a high nitro nutrients with blood and bone during veg phase if that makes any difference. Anyway take a peek :)

Looks like the green could be algae. Not sure if that is going to be a problem for you or not. I don't think I'd be concerned.

Thanks, I was wondering what it was, I've seen it on my bonsai plant as well, so I wasn't worried, but was wondering if it could be harmful to the plants. :)

My previous diagnosis was wrong, lol. It's a female plant with some male flowers (The male flowers were more obvious couldn't recognize some bud sites, but a few days later its obvious theres ALOT more budsites then male flowers). I don't have any pictures of the potential budsites, since I can't focus the camera on the tiny calyxes (not mine so I don't know how to use it), just wait until its more developed for pics :), hoping for some good smoke, since the bag I got this from was pretty nice.

Nothing spectacular for the big buds, #1 seems to have hit the reserviour at the bottom, so it's just starting to take off, #2 is still making its way. Anyway heres the progress.

Hey I already castrated the male buds, and yes I'm still continuing to grow, The calyxes just started to come out at the start of the week. I mostly have popcorn buds, but the main cola is growing hairs allover. Have a look :)

Can someone let me know about this picture whether those are male buds? Or will they develop into female buds later?

As you can see I've removed the lower leaves, so the plant stops wasting energy developing these lower popcorn budsites

Big Bud #1:
I fimmed this plant about 8 days ago, and Its just starting to come along (remember this is from seed so it takes awhile to recover than if it was a clone).

Big Bud #2:
I plan on fimming this plant in maybe another week, I'll show you the results in another fortnight.

I tied down my flowering bagseed, a few days ago and I'm tightening every 12 hours, so I can maximize light exposure and minimize popcorn buds.

The #1 started giving off an odour in veg, I was abit surprised but I'm also really amazed at the genetics of this plant. Word on the street is it gives off a huge yield, but with low potency, I'm expecting blueberry gum seeds this coming week which I plan to crossbreed and find a gene mix that works for me. Also heres what a properly fimmed plant looks like.
