12 CFL's (2x42 warm; 4x26cool; 6x23warm) 12/12 from seed/cloning

I'll be sure to post a proper journal once PROJECT TURBO DIESEL (PPP x Sour Diesel) is under way...

Looks great man, I've been wanting to see your garden after i saw the DWC tutorial( which i will be making soon thanks!) and i wasn't let down. Keep us posted and good luck!

Everyone says you need big reservoirs. I disagree.

My reservoir is only 2 gallons and that affords me the ability to conserve nutes. I have had no problems so far. I just keep the ph at around 5.6-5.9 follow GH's feeding schedule and it's all good.

Yeah i have been following zen's thread. I have some broccoli growing in a DWC container that holds a little more than a quart of water in it. The broccoli is doing much better than the soil broccoli even though the soil was started first. I figured i would try it out on broccoli before i went ahead and did it with mary j. I'm going to be building a new one that is a little bigger than the ones in your tutorial were. I am going to use two 10 gallon air pumps with a 10 inch long airstone on each pump. You think that setup would work alright?

Yeah, it should work fine. You may want to use two airstones for more oxygenation, but one air pump will do the job with a gang valve.

I'm starting to reevaluate my grow. I am definitely cutting down the numbers once everything is sexed. Maybe custom fitted screens for these tubs with 2 plants in each.

Yeah i was planning on using two pumps and two air stones for the one container. How many plants do you have total, 9?

that's including these 3 little experiments (my buddy had a plant get almost 7 feet tall under his HPS, so we did what is never done... we cloned it while it was already budding)

I know they won't produce much, but by the time they are done is right around my good friends birthday. I'm gonna pot them in soil and let him clip/dry/cure, etc. for his own personal enjoyment. Kind of a dick move, eh? "Here's some pot, but you can't smoke it for a week."

I'm really impressed with my cell's camera.

This one, which is about 4 weeks into flower, is a clone from a bagseeder that I call "Bride of Frankenstein." It was my LST/training experiment. She took every little thing I threw at her. She's twisted, mangled, and sporting 17 huge colas under my buddy's HPS.

I really wish I had another one of these to make a mother out of. Tremendously strong genetics (as far as durability). I'd love to cross it with something else.

Maybe I'll get a TURBO DIESEL male and cross it with B.O.F....

Fat? Yes.

More potent? Time will tell.

I have taken plants that were too small for his op and my roommates always prefer mine over his even though it is all the same strain.

This was more just a "see it works" thread.

Although I have harvested the biggest of the plants in the pic. But it is total crapola bagseed. I have to smoke a blunt to get stoned off of it (and it flowered for almost 12 weeks!)

The PPP x Sour Diesel is coming along nicely. You really can't appreciate good genetics if you haven't grown bad ones too. The new hybrid, Turbo Diesel, looks a thousand times better than the one I chopped two weeks ago.

Update...

I have since cultivated 3 Turbo Diesel Plants and have 3 more soon to finish.

Let me tell you guys... this shit is friggin' grand! Really good bud. It's not a stable breed yet, but I have over 75 seeds to work with still.

My only problem is I had to let someone board my girls for a weekend while some work was done on the house and they came home with white flies. Gonna go get some ladybugs as soon as I get a chance. They are much too close to being done to be spraying anything on them. I'd rather do nothing than spray them with anything now.

Oh well.

I also have 3 more Turbo Diesel sprouts in a bubbler along with 3 PPP x ???. Since I don't have a separate veg chamber they are under 12/12. But the beauty is that by the end of the week when I chop the big girls, I'll be able to switch the lights over to 18/6 finally!

I started this whole thing by taking two mature plants from a friend to breed them and I have been sprouting, cloning and flowering under 12/12 since. I can't wait to finally be able to SCROG!!!

im smoking right now so i cant read all this chatter, so if you already stated so sorry. but how do you keep the water a decent tempeture in those tubs?
