First time with autos (Auto Northern Lights) - What do you think so far?

Here's a few pics of my lady. She's an auto northern light (from GreenHouseSeeds).
Tomorrow she will be 6 weeks old and right now she's about 24" tall.
This is my second grow but my first time trying auto strains.

She's been going under a humble setup of 5 CFL's (18/6 the whole time.)
The medium is Dr. earth premium soil, I've been feeding her General Organics Biothrive Grow & Bloom, plus Superthrive (2 times, maybe 3 if spraying counts).

Anyways, since I'm really a noob here I would like to know your thoughts:
- Is she doing ok for a 6 weeks old?
- She started showing pistils at 3 weeks and half, are the flowers big enough so far? Do you think this will be a nice yield?

I think I will be giving her molasses this weekend, I heard they make the buds a little bit bigger.

Nice bro! She's beautiful. Looks like you have her dialed in nicely. I love using molasses but be careful and tread lightly, especially at first. If you do it right I believe it helps with trich production and density. But it can be a nightmare if it goes wrong especially for me cuz I am hydro. I always suggest Plantation organic blackstrap unsulphered molasses.

but great job on your girl. NL is a strain I am interested in.

looks a happy healthy lady , the nugs will never grow large due to cfl regardless of what you read as there is never the intensity and penetration so dont go looking at pictures and expecting the world , you should stil do ok though and so far its looking good , all the best

Thanks guys! Light feed with the unsulfured molasses, go it!
I'm really excited with what I have since my first grow was really bad and most of my plants died (newbie experience)....In the end, I'll be happy smoking my own grow no matter what I get

01.jpg02.jpg So here's an unpdate: Day 45, she has slowly stopped growing now (been around 24.5" for the last 4 days but I'm quite happy with the size). As you can see the bud formations are pretty much all over the place. The smell is light but you can tell "something" smells when in the room. I wasn't able to find molasses but will experiment with agave, it's not the same but I've read around here that some people are happy with it. I'm guessing I have left around 3 to 4 weeks to harvest.

I beg to differ I grew huge buds with CFL' S before I got a 400 MH/HPS.

Ruderalis/Indica type that tend to look like a christmas tree and under optimal conditions they go up to 3 and 4 feet tall...will post updated pics at 50 days from seed (in 2 days)

Update: 50 days from seed. She is 24.75" tall.
Thinking about harvesting when she gets to 70 days old unless she doesn't look ready by then.

This morning I gave her 2 Teaspoon of General Organics BioThrive Bloom + 1 Teaspoon of Blue Agave

Why use a calendar to decide when to harvest? If you want the best product then let the plant decide when it's ready for harvest. Even with autos the growing times are mainly a general rule of thumb derived from how long it takes their people to grow them out. Your individual methodology and experience makes a difference.

i love the northern lights autos. have grown several and get excellent yields with the awesome smoke. when growing outdoors between april and june i get about 3 oz per plant. they have all been ready between 77-81 days after germination. GL

I am using 2 of each for the Y sockets and a smal dual tube lamp that is 28w pointing down to the main cola, 2 or 3 inches away from the top. The total would be around 155 watts (not exact) for my humble setup. It's what I can work with at the moment and am actually happy with the results. Buds could be bigger with more lights but that should be for my future grow (maybe LEDs).

Correction, around 144 watts. And forgot to mention that I am tucking leaves and constantly rotating the plant every 5 hours so the side buds get as much light as posible with what I have.

to be under cfls she looks damn good man.... i love growing northern lights had 10 off thim heres one off my last git 2 1/2 off her would have git alot more but i had a good fuck up with her....
