I have 7 23 watt cfls, plus the aerogarden hood on one side of the plants because they became to tall, and I broke one light while trying to hang it. With this setup, how much could I possibly yield? I was thinking of getting 150 watt hps, but I'd like to see what my current setup might pull for me. Please let me know if Ill have a decent flower with what I got. Thanks 2 weeks into flowering. Man, deja-vu I swear I already replied to this because I remember doing lumen calculations but somehow my post isn't here, HAH.

Okay so heres the breakdown

150w HPS: 16,000 lumens + HEAT
7x23w CFL+AG(1 light): 12,800 lumens

I would just replace 2-3 of those 23w CFL bulbs with 42W CFL bulbs...

If you swapped out 3 23W for 42W you would have 3300 more lumens, 16,100 total, which would put you right up to par with a 150W HPS..

That would only run you ~$27 and you don't have to worry about changing your current setup at all, heat, heavy ballasts or ordering anything online and having to wait for shipping.

i dont know why everyone thinks the 150w hps puts out alot of heat...
mine is a built in 1 unit with the ballast and ficture part of the reflector and it runs cool enough to be only 8 inches off my plants with the temps 75*

alot is a relative word.

HPS is going to put out way more heat than a CFL setup, and the CFLs can get way closer to the plants.

damn bro, chill out... You posted this in a bunch of different places, wasn't really necessary.

For future reference, you only need to ask once, if nobody replies, bump your thread.

Yeah I did post its own thread, and one in the Aero Faq thread, but thats twice. Mybad sorry bout that Sicc, just went off. Anyways, got other aerogarden in mail, and some feminized White Widow seeds, plus this Dutch Passion Feminized Autoflowering Taiga coming in, want to get a bunch of clippings off of the white widow when these plants finish and clone them in this machine I currently am using. Should the 150 watt hps light, be sufficient for 2 aerogardens?

It would depend on how many plants were going, but you could always add a bunch of CFL's to add to the light
