10.0 Uvb Light

yah im using compact uvb lights on the right side of my flower room to do a comparison. i know it helps tho.

I can't see the light hurting it any.
If you watched that video. It seems that UVB is the missing key to indoor growing. IMO
The first pic is close to the light you can see the UVB light in the back ground.
The second pic is away from the UVB ligh, on the other side of the plant.

They said that light was good up to 20 inches.
I've got the plant touching the light.
The light is pretty cool to the touch.

thanks yeah i got the shop lamp at wallmart for 10$ and the 2 blubs at $20 a piece, w/ a grounded timer thats set on 3hrs on/off cycle 2 times on during the 12/12
any suggestions or your timing?

I have the UVB come on when the HPS comes on.
it's on 12/12.
The Video with Marijuana Man was saying that dude only had his

you havent seen an issue with it running 12/12

im runnin my little guy 12/12 too every day i shift it around tho, gota go get some of those you posted....cheap an works pro.

No issues with the plants having the UVB light on for 12/12
The leaves are darker, that are closer to the light.
The (1) UVB light I have matched the square feet of my grow area.
I'm thinking when It's on it's like being at the equator for 12 hours.
I guess if you have more UVB for your square feet that your growing in you might not have to leave it on all the time. Different Strains might have different reactions to the UVB. Maybe or maybe not.

damn - i've only been running mine for 5 hours in the middle of the day... i'm gonna change it to at least 10...

two of those 24" uv10 bulbs is a lot of uv... dont look at those, seriously.. i have mine rigged up to a door switch so when i open the door they go off

i put in an 18" fluoro and 2 of the 23w CFLs in reflectors.

dang bloodshot, i gota set up my game only runnin one cfl im goin ta walmart now because of you! lol i blame this spending on you and you only....

yea, i'll take that blame...





the CFLs are pretty strong... and they have decent reach in a reflector - the fluoro tubes are a lot more even, and dont produce such extreme uv right by the bulb...

i should have put in a 24" fluoro... but i had a fixture for an 18 - maybe later.

i used UV supplimentation in my last grow and got great results

I am so sold on this.

ya dude peaple not useing uvb are missing out on like half there thc content/ tricombs. like i said we need a club...im guna go get mine today or tomarro, one cfl uvb is not cuttin it. lol ineed more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
