Hi man I finally made a post on my new room design.
I checked out the link you gave me on different hydro/aero setups and just like they say there are 6 basic types of hydroponic systems & hundreds of variations on these basic types for example the tub (bubbleponic) you have is like a WATER CULTURE roots hang directly into reservoir but its also like EBB AND FLOW or N.F.T. per the root hang in air before going into water now I know they go into a lot of water unlike N.F.T. but this is just to say basically any combination of these are essentially the same. My ebb & flow is like EBB AND FLOW & N.F.T. more on ebb side. the areo effect of draining or having root hang before water helps oxygen issue of water based (soil-less growing). I would say this may have to do with the fact dioxygen (O2) is what supports life where as H2O (water) has one oxygen per hydrogen. Hey hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) people use to clean water may even help plant O2 uptake. One reason I will say ebb, drip, N.F.T., aero are better because the water moves which is good think clean river verses mucky pond.
P.S. I checked out your post INC the journal ect. love the pics but so much more fun in person. Make me jealous ready to start cutting wood.
