I have a varicocele (look it up, I won't bore you with a description) which is debilitating, painful, chronic and it keeps me up at night. After numerous attempts with both my urologist and physician, I can't seem to find anything that helps. I know that smoking will help mitigate the pain and let me get some rest, though. Despite this, my urologist shied away from signing my physician's verification form due to pressure from his colleagues, and my physician won't have anything to do with it because she's old-school. Neither will refer me to someone who may be able to help, either. Despite spending hours online, I came up empty looking for an answer to my problems.
A friend of mine who posts here told me to try the VT forum to see if anyone has suggestions for me or can point me in the right direction. I live up north, but I'll travel anywhere to get the form signed!
I remember reading on the registration form that if my reason for applying for a license is "of recent or sudden onset" or if my "physician [isn't] able to verify the nature of the disease and its symptoms", then I can fill out the form anyway and hope for the best. I'm wondering if, considering my position, I may be able to apply for a license and write a letter to the Medical marijuana Registry stating my case. Maybe if I got my doctors to write a letter to add to the registration it would help? I'm about to start cold calling doctors in the phone book, hahaha... :/
This post is turning into a novel, so I'll stop now and hope someone can answer back.

I had a vericocelle fixed 20 years ago get it fixed. Took 1 hour with a lapriscope. No more nut pain.
No doctor's cutting into my nards! Besides, the possibility exists that surgery could make it worse, and it doesn't always work or the pain can come back after a while. My urologist recommended not to have surgery in my case unless I decide to have children, which I don't (yet).
It's really up to you wether or not you get the surgery. I think if the doctors were not so "afraid" of recomending it and filling out the form for you....it would be much easier. That's just shows what influence the governemnt really has on doctors now a days. If your doctor said he agreed it would be a good pain reliever, but is "afraid" of setting a precedent, you should ask him for that in writing and use that to send to the registry along with your application. It's worth a shot...and good luck with your ball pain....lol! Sorry I shouldn't be laughing at that huh![]()
Can't complain too much, since you get vag pain every month!![]()
Is the hemp and cannabis foundation in VT? THCF? I know they would most likely give you a recommendation for that issue. Good Luck! No one should have to live in pain without any relief regardless of what the darn doctors say. This is an herb afterall...
