Did you all catch that? The cops are mailing shit to people, then staking out the house waiting for the mail to arrive, then charging in and arresting people. How the hell can that be legal? Can you say entrapment? WTF is going on in America these days? Sorry but the policeman is NOT your friend.

i dont think the police sent the drugs. they just intercepted it. the scheme is by the drug dealers, the one fed ex guy would drop off the package...and later another fed ex guy would pick it up. but the mayor just happened to get to the package before the other fed ex guy, so the police busted him. the fed ex guys were part of the scheme.

I read the CNN article and the wording was very vague, it made it sound as though the cops sent the shit. I've since read other articles which gave more information.

I guess this is one more arguement for decriminalization..........

In the CNN video I thought they said it was an Identity theft scheme in which they were sending packages of bud to unsuspecting people. In any event...if they're using Car registrations to link people wouldn't they have known this woman was married to the mayor? Would it have been so hard to actually have done some proper investigating? If they were unsuspecting couldn't they have just knocked on the door, and simply asked a few questions? It must be easier to draw a firearm than it is to grow some big boy balls and actually talk.

But the cops wanted to bust in with guns blazing and be heroes like the guys on those "Bad Boys" movies........

That's the problem with law enforcement. They claim to want the best, but all they simply want is little monkeys who simply act ,and don't think. If there were actually cops capable of sound logic and reasoning skills this country might actually be a better place.

I thought there was this thing called an investigation that went on before this type of shit. You'd think the damn cops would be aware of where the mayor lives.

In the vid he said he informed them of who he was and they thought he was "crazy" until one of the local police told them differently. Hey I thought the same thing. You investigate someone it's standard practice to know...

Who lives there.
How many occupants there are.
Small children
Animals.
Schedules.

That's just basic dossier information, and they dropped the ball.Shit they don't even issue "No-Knock" warrants in Maryland...yet they were able to "Obtain" one? I really hope he uses his influence do make a difference, and doesn't just roll because he was deemed innocent. If I was him Heads would be fuckin rolling, and I'd be calling for some MAJOR budget cuts. Home depot anyone?
