I would like to get into baking cookies and other goods using cannabutter. I was wondering if drug-sniffing dogs can sniff out the thc in cookies. Has anyone ever been busted with an edible? I never heard of anyone getting pulled over for eating a cookie. hehe.

They don't sniff for THC per se, but the specific common scent mj puts out. And yea, they can def smell them I would think. Cannabutter like most any other extract still smells of weed.

So i should've already known the answer to this. I never had baked goods using weed or cannabutter. I wasn't sure if the cookies would smell of weed.
