LOL.... no we knew it wasn't because we were the only tenant on the second floor and none of the employees had brought a sack lunch. It turned out to be some electrical tape and misc. screwdrivers the maintenance guy had left there when working on a light in the hallway the night before. This was WAY before 9/11.... but we were taking no chances as we'd already had a mental patient show up at the office the previous year. Sure it was a waste of police time.... but my point was... if you think it's something explosive... you don't go "investigate".

Clearly if the guy thought that package was a bomb he wouldn't have opened it... he would have called authorities. He was hoping it had weed so he could steal it.... plain and simple. To make matters worse... he purposely cut the other packages open to release the smell... KNOWING it would get the others busted .... all so he could get away with his thievery.

IMO... that guy is lower then pond scum!

This one time at band camp..... someone left a Tuba case on the side of the road,,, no one would open it So we called the police , and the media and the bomb squad , when they all came the case was opened and inside was a Flute ...

we had a situation like this a few years ago locally....kilos of coke were washing up on the beach on the coast...at least one guy found "one" and turned it in like a "good guy"....they busted him a week later, he evidently found 3 kilos... shoulda gave em none or all
