On a somewhat serious note. I have been drinking alot in the past couple months. And its starting to get to the point not where im worried, but im thinking I need to slow down. I drink about 6 days a week. and usually not a ton, definately not even close to enough to black out or anything. Usually just one forty and a spliff.

I can go without drinking with no problem, but i do crave it. It helps me relax and sleep. (Bud makes it hard for me to sleep) I was just wondering in your guys and gals opinion, how much is too much and what are the signs of becoming dependent? Has anyone here had a problem?

Please none of those "just stop drinking" comments. Hopefully this can be a somewhat serious thread.

i used to drink ridiculous amounts. we all did.

it was during the apartheid war, and as a 14 yr old with an uzi under my arm and radio on my back i did not actually ever expect to see my 18th birthday, so it was 'get your kicks b4 the whole shithouse goes up in flames' kind of thing.

but by age 22 it was a massive problem healthwise. the hangovers were as bad as migraines, and the war was about over. thank GOD. When i had to take 14 painkillers to recover i knew it was a major problem.

its all about how you feel healthwise. everybodys metabolism is different,
but in order to let ganja help u sleep, u can smoke a few reefers then stop smoking,
and about 2 hours later you get really sleepy. don't smoke another at this point or you will wake up.

so if u want to sleep at midnight have the last reefer at 9pm

Well Im I drinker I drink everyday.Some times I wake up and have a shot of tequila and go back to bed. I normaly start drinking around 430am and do not stop until I go to bed..This is a drinking problem what you have sounds more like a nite cap than a drinking problem.But what ever you decide it is I wish the best for you in your time of uncertanty...
