i feel bad for smoking pot recreationally when i hear testimonies of people who need it..cuz sometimes i feel like it's us recreational smokers that make it harder for the ones who need it most to have the drug fully legalized.

Im glad this old thread is finally getting some veiws,the video clip of his speech says everything that most of us ever wanted to say to congress or the senate.

Whats really kick ass is there is no way in hell anybody can discount his testimony as of comming from a bum,or give him any of the old gateway drug bullshit,that guy seriously has his shit togther in his personal life & in his professional life as a stock trader.

The sad part of the story is this was in 2006 and the legislators did nothing. They let the 40 days go by when they could have passed the initative as it stood, still did nothing. And yet the want to change the laws regarding he ballot initiative in a way that would make it nearly impossible to ever do this again. Seems they don't like the idea of their jobs being part time, etc, they think it is their right because they are 'public servants', yet they say if you don't like the law wrk to change it. Remember to vote in November. VV
