Ron Paul Revolution we need it Now our government is trampling all over the Constitution and only Ron Paul Will do something about it. What other Politician is promising to adhere to the laws of the Constitution? no one besides Ron Paul. don't forget when the government throws out the Constitution and they have we lose all civil rights. so go vote for Obama or Clinton if you want to remain slaves under a dictatorship.

This is nonsense, the fact is Ron Paul will not be elected President. He could be a souped up Lincoln/Aristotle hybrid who can cure cancer by looking at you, there is still 0% chance of him winning. Take a realistic approach and pick a remaining candidate. Nobody here is saying Ron Paul is a bad choice but throwing your vote away is foolish. I'm sorry your candidate didn't get nominated but thats the way the cookie crumbles. Losing elections is part of politics. America has chosen a two party system and this is the cost. Live with it or get involved and change it.

I've never taken spoilt voters seriously and I don't intend to start now.

It's not that I (we) don't get it. It's that we disagree.

Seamaiden said it... why vote for someone you don't share views with? Besides Ron Paul never cared about getting elected, he knew it was a long shot... he cares about getting his message out there and getting the ideas in our heads as well as putting a voice to them. He'll always weigh heavily in politics, president or not... I'm glad he's on our side. If everyone thinks that "Oh, he can't win, so lets not vote for him" nothing will change, but if everyone thinks like myself (we) then you never know what will happen in November, we could have millions of people vote for Paul.

And you've hit the nail on the head for my point, Socata. As long as people remain entrenched in the mindset that one is wasting their vote if they're not voting for an obvious winner, it will remain the truth. The MOMENT one frees themselves from that and votes according to conscience, integrity, and uses past behavior as an indicator of future behavior, then the "dogma" begins to change. If all the people who say, "Oh, I like Ron Paul, but he hasn't got a chance of winning so I'm voting for someone who has a chance" changed their tune then politicians like him WOULD have a chance.

But, they don't, maybe they can't. I think it actually speaks to this American mindset of "winning is everything". "I want to know that I voted in the winner, I helped vote in that winner!"
Not, "I voted for a dog who lost his pants."
Most people want to vote for the winner, to have those bragging rights.
Most Americans are amazingly, incredibly, depressingly ignorant. Not stupid, IGNORANT. And stupid can't be helped, ignorant CAN. Problem is, they fucking can't be arsed.
Most Americans are not interested in pulling for the losing team (Saints, anyone?) unless they're winning, and are often "bandwagoners", those who wait to jump the train until they can determine which train is pulling into the best stop. Thing is, it's not necessarily the best stop for them, is it? Not when you get what you "wanted".

Millions WILL vote for RP. Likely won't be enough, but we will vote.

We the people need to take action if we want action. If we sit around letting other people determine our lives than we can't complain when you elect an oil man for president and then "coincidentally" our gas prices double.

I know I'm doing my part to spread the word. I believe there is going to be a RON PAUL wave. There are sooooo many RON PAUL supporters that it sickens me that he doesn't get airtime on the news/TV. I was reading a thread on Grassroots Support of Ron Paul's 2008 Presidential Campaign (I just signed up a week ago actually) that was saying how RON PAUL got an interview with Larry King but it never aired for some reason? Hmmmm.... YouTube - Ron Paul on Larry King 1-3-08 (UNAIRED) The upper echelon of gov't doesn't want RON PAUL to get airtime or in office because they like the people having to pay so much for everything. If RON PAUL got into office I guarantee you that the american people would be a lot richer!!

Its obvious that the 'big shots' that have control over the media and whatnot do not want RON PAUL to be known because there will be a peoples revolution- Its already spreading.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm doing my part to fight(spreading the word) for what I(we) want.

Thanks to anyone who is at least knowledgeable about RON PAUL.

RON PAUL REVOLUTION

~PEACE~
