My wife has a disease called fibro mialga & it's a mother fuker for her,lot's of nerve pain goes along with it & if you've ever had nerve pain then you know,no pain is like nerve pain.

Anyhow i got up early this morning to my wife crying in pain & the whole left side of her body was numb & cold to the touch,took her to the hospital where they did a standard CT Scan on her,then another CT Scan with the blue die crap,then they did an MRI of her brain & brain stem.

So far the results dont look to promising,both CT Scans showed discolorations on the right side of her brain,the MRI has not been read yet,were still waiting for the specialist to read the MRI results,the doc's are telling us that she may now have Multiple Sclorosus ,FUCK !They are giving her Diluadid every 4 hours so the pain is semi under control.

I spent the day with her & all the injections of pain killers were making her feel tweaked out so i took a break,went home & grabbed a bong & a fat ass bud from my last harvest then went & got her from the hospital,we went for a ride around the block & she toked up pretty swell,between getting out of the hospital for a while & 5 big rips on the bong i left her sleeping like a baby till morning .

Anyhow i just wanted to preface the whole point of this thread,when shit's fuked up RUI is a pretty swell place to chill out & forget the bad shit for a few minutes which is exactly what im going to do.

I have to agree with you, this is a good place to go when life shits on your head. The people here are very understanding and supportive. I've only been here a short time and I'm so touched at how cool people are. Plus, it's a good place to have fun!

Fibro mialga is a demon like no other. Some people say it doesn't exist, that it's not a real disease. I beg to differ. I know people who are suffering terribly from this disease; my friend's mother often wakes in the night screaming because she's had nightmares about animals eating her, the pain even penetrates her sleep.

All you can do is hang in there, for both yourself AND her. If you need me - check out the PM I've just sent you.

You know what? She is really fortunate to have you. The two of you have been through so much together, and this is coming from someone who only knows the little bit that you've decided to share. I know what fibromyalgia can do to a person, I've seen it firsthand. I'm glad her docs are taking her seriously, I've got one friend whose docs spent years sending her to shrinks, yeah, it's all in her head.

The weed provides her relief, and MS is HIGHLY treatable. If you and your wife would like, I have some friends on another board (they're based in Wales) where many members also have MS and they are, honestly, the best group of people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, in an online sort of way. Just send me a message and I'll send you the link, you just be sure to tell them that Seamaiden sent you there. They are kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Just one thing, it's a board mainly for Wiccans and people of.. "different" faiths from what most of us are accustomed to. Doesn't matter to me, though, they're good people and that's the most important.

I sure hope shit starts getting better,we spent the day waiting on the Neurologist & when he came the news was not good,not good at all,he is still waiting on some specialist to read the MRI & write a report but after him looking at the MRI he ordered a spinal tap,the purpose of the spinal tap is to look for cancer or MS,at this point were praying for MS.

Whatever the fuk is going on it's not looking good,the neurologist was examining her & he lightly touched her face with this probe looking thing & she nearly jumped out of her skin screaming,he touched me in the same way with the probe to show me what it should feel like under normal conditions & it felt like being touched with cold metal,no pain involved at all.

Hopefully the spinal tap will rule out cancer.
