No, not addicted. I stopped with the gold tops on my fourth trip (this was in the early eighties). The one before that was nearly as bad as the last one, so i figured, fuck that, too much to pay for the short time it felt good.
However, them little bits of blotting paper would have been my undoing if I'd hung around where I lived. Aahhh Lysergic Acid...
...see, I still think that way. But I *have* been able to say no though (about ten years ago I think), but only because I had a choice of weed or trips and decided that the trips would be good for a few hours (they claimed 12 hours), but the weed would last a week.

lol i actually just read something about this the other day and how its not a gateway drug, but people began to see it that way when it became harder to get pot in certain areas. this is what i was reading the other day:

eh, i thought it was pretty interesting. I dont think its a gateway drug. theres lots of studies that have shown almost consistently that its about 17% of marijuana users that actually go on to use harder drugs or try them. Im sure that number could be a little skewed, but needless to say isnt it personal decision when you're putting a drug into your body? so i think it would be safe to say that there cant be any one drug thats the gateway to the ENTIRE drug world. I mean... Im sure theres plenty of people who have never smoked pot, but do tons of coke or heroin and they dont call those gateway drugs!
