My take is that anyone can time travel backwards. Just read history books. I know some of them lie.

john mentioned mad cow disease was also caused by aquaponics/ fish farming. by fish eating fish in his future.theres a problem with this. aquaponics was not even in practical use in 2000 let alone known about. until recent years but here in 2012 we have everyday ppl trying aquaponics in there backyards and even homes so he just knew growing fish and plants together would catch on he predicted this . idk its scary.?

I read about him shortly after he quit posting. I never believed him, but it was very entertaining none the less.

His predictions have not come true. Not even close. They were wildly inaccurate.

i dont know if its true or not but its concern that keeps me watching. but he didn't make predictions he wasn't a pychic .he was descibeing his future .the events that formed his future. were changed when he came here. so the future he was descibing wont be the same. so all the events that ppl say he descibed. wont happen exactly the same . but this is a great story john titor should be proud of it even if its not real its a great excape of reality thats just good scifi .

Yes he left a convenient little out for himself by claiming different world lines will have slightly different histories. His predictions weren't mostly true, or mostly correct though. Wildly wildly inaccurate. To the point that he is either a fraud, or the world line we exist in is so radically different from his world line that his predictions are irrelevant.

predictions of time and future events creates a paradox its impossible to predict the future if your from the future . lmao

I believe that it is very possible that somewhere between 1975 and 1999 something happened, that may have been minor at the time, different in our worldline than in John Titor's. John was 3 worldlines away from his original worldline, he may not have realized that a small even took place differently in our worldline that he did not know about. Perhaps delaying certain events or even changing some history.

The reason why the story is so oddly convincing to me is because of the level of detail he went into while explaining the science behind it and the fact that 11 years later, sceintific discoveries at CERN are backing up everything Titor claimed about the science and physics regarding time travel.
