I got a question, why have additional irc channels if its just all about the same thing?

diversity. over time an efnet channel will develop its own characteristics, their own loyal members and a 'feel' all its own. Some channels may be more serious and others more playful. Not to mention each channel will have its own rules.. each channel may predominantely speak one language or another. so lots of differences and in the end this is great for the community because we have more choices.
