I don't get stoned anymore

A little over a year ago I started taking some medication for anxiety and after a few weeks I noticed that I wasn't really getting high. I could take two/three hits of the stuff I grow and could be sorted out for the next few hours. I stopped taking this stuff about 4 months ago and I still don't get high.

Now I can smoke a couple bong bowls, or a whole big fat joint and I just get a buzz ( a nice high) but it only lasts for about 20 mins. My eyes don't even get red. I just don't get really high anymore. I'ts quite upsetting.
These days I probably smoke about a 1/4 a wk .. but it's more of a waste than anything.

Anyone ever had this happen to them? Any suggestions?
There's nothing worse than not getting high, and I've got some great strains I'm growing (Sensi Seeds - N/Lights, American Dream and Juicy Fruit). So genetics isn't the problem.

sigh .. I love weed, it's just these days it doesn't seem to love me back.

Maybe try and whack your equilibreium off track before smoking? Like take a shot of something or just drink a beer before smoking? Maybe take a break? Maybe its your tolerance?

I clean my system out to get a better high. My system gets that tolerance thing which really sucks balls.

I have heard of this before. Infact not to scare you..sorry if I do, but I heard of a man who was in his 30's or 40's who smoked heavily since he was a teen who eventually killed himself because any amount of the greatest marijuana wouldnt get him high anymore..
I feel your frustration but I would suggest laying off for a while if you can and try to get your body used to sobriety, perhaps that will let this quality weed affect you once more?

I dunno if its safe to see a doctor about this or ask somebody from a medical dispensary about your problem, but it really seems worth it to me.

Have you tried baking a lot of weed into a little bit of baked goods?

Asking a doctor about it I don't think anything would happen, something about the whole doctor-patient confidentiality agreement, highly illegal and even sueable if broken.

killed himself b/c he couldnt get high anymore????

Its called Tolerance , switch up your strain.. see if that works
