My intention was to bring awareness to the on-goings ....or rather a look behind the sceens of Big Pharma Co's interest in cannabis....how everything ties in together could be said, is a matter of perception....but the facts do seem to imply that there is this huge interwoven web amongst this MEGA, MULTI BILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES ( Monsanto ) and others along with big name political figures that ,as I see it, will soon monolopize huge industries such as farming.....in other words....the small guys will get choked out of business.......ask the smaller farm operations what they think about this???

Getting back on point.....if there is one way to rule or conquer any industry....its to own the rights to it....and there are several ways to do that....A perfect example of this is Walmart......Mom and Pop businesses dont stand a chance against a giant like this....Walmart buys product ,not by the truck load, but by the barge load...by train loads.....when a company buys merchandise in such volume, it is able to put product on the shelf at much lower prices....they make thier millions by moving volume....barge after barge after barge.

What does this have to do with Cannabis.....well..its quite simple....Millions of people like ourselves already know the medicinal value of cannabis....not everyone uses cannabis for the same reasons but for many....it is medicine...All this talk of legalization and regulation simply means.....that change is coming, however I feel that it will come under the authority of the GOV ( FDA ).....and pharmaceutical companies....further more....for the seed companies to have the ability to genetically modify seed so that you can produce one harvest and one harvest only because the plant will be steril...therefore unable to produce seed...What does that mean ....you have to buy seed from them no matter what.....goodby pollen chucking...etc Whats to stop other Cannabis seed breeders from going to this method to try to protect thier strains from being used in other breeding projects other then thier own?????

At the very least it gratifies me that people will look at this and become aware of the possibilities we face in the near future.....whether you agree with my thought process or not......Peace

My hope is that more growers will become inspired to learn more about breeding and actually start breeding as to preserve the plant and your right to grow it.....Why should you or I or anyone have to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to buy meds from a pharma co when you can grow it yourself.....the world is governed by one thing and one thing only....MONEY....everything else falls under that rule...like it or not.....there is not a living soul on the planet that does not need money in one way or another......thats my take on it....I guess it comes down to how far your willing to take it for the almighty dollar!

I have 50 seeds of various loverly genetics waiting to have a stable male to drop some pollen on them..

I really would like to get involved with breeding, but Im not sure I have enough time right now to dive head first.. I really wish I could.

These always greedy people out there looking to screw anyone they can. All this genetic manipulation shit is all confusing (and dumb) to me. what happened to nature for fucksakessssss

My advice to ANYONE who takes a minute to read thru this thread is .....start aquiring seed strains of various genetics....stored properly, they will keep a very long time. I do not like preserving them by freezing them....to risky...freezer gets unplugged or some stupid thing like that and your SOL. I like cool, dry, air tight storage. I also like regulars for breeding purposes but thats just me....but ya.....start your own little seed bank. I collected between 3 and 4 THOUSAND seeds from one plant last year.....outdoors....that should last me a while ha???? now multiply that x 5 because I had 5 different strains ....yes they were bred to the same male but now I have 12-13 thousand seeds of F1 hybreed high grade smoke.....not to shabby

Yea.....each plant averaged 3 to 4 thousand seeds.....but keep in mind that they were free range outdoors....6 to 7 ft tall trees...I kept the male with them until every dam sac had opened.....and interestingly enough...because I had selected these strains from well worked stable genetics....the weed ( what was avail ) was still very nice....when you pollenate a female....all her energy goes into making babies....I already grew out one of the F1 crosses......Excellent ....super good ganga.....great cross...I have a few friends working on some of the other crosses.....so far everything looks and smells good!!! But you can do a small breeding project indoors....you dont need allot of pollen....a little goes a LONGGGGGGGG way...

I'm following a trusted recipe. All organic. Seen it used with just water from start to finish with great results . Only had to buy that one thing from fox farms lol.

Don't get me started on monsanto; they are worthless, greedy shit bags corrupting the entire planet for the sake of fucking money. I hope they all burn in hell.

Ok, what is supersoil? I thought it was a special recipe that came already mixed. All I know is mine is a mix from scratch called LCs soiless mix. I'm a noob, leave me alone! lol
