Ok so i got this sharp pain that feels like it's coming from my left lung. whenever i breath deeply it hurts a lot and when i breathe normally its mild pain.

i only smoke weed. and don't smoke cigarettes, but pretty much everyone i know does, so i'm exposed to that bullshit.

has anyone had this happen to them before? i'm stressin that i got something bad going on so i stopped being around smoke completely to see if it goes away.

Its funny you say that, my 2 friends and I who all don't smoke cigarettes were all saying we had the same chest pain, it almost feels like your lungs and chest are burning. We thought it could be from smoking pot cause the only time I get it is after i smoke. I started using the vaporizer and water bongs more now because it filters out some of the carcinogens, seems to help a little i also started running more to get my lungs back into shape. Chances are if your baked when you think about it, it will start to go to your head and make it worse than it actually is, just my 2 cents tho. hope this helps!

well it's not a burning feeling, just a sharp pain. but i called the folks to see what they think about it and they said i probably pulled a muscle in that area. cause it's been hurting for a few days straight

so i'm hoping thats the issue

and i have no idea who fred g is haha

I've gotten pains like that since I was a little kid. No one's ever been able to tell me, definitively, what causes it. Sometimes I think maybe a rib has moved out of whack and maybe is poking me in the lung. Or something like that.

If you've had a cold in the last week it could be pleurisy, if not it's likely chostrocondritis. Try Aleeve or Advil per instructions on bottle. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to talk more, I really need more info to make a definative diagnosis. GL HH

yeah me and 1 of my friends also have this pain. Though I don't think it's caused by bad lungs cause I can easily hold my breathe for over a minute lol I thought we were the only ones...

I think I know exactly what your talking about. I have the same feeling, only certain times, and lasts for MAYBE 30 seconds. I have to exhale and hold my breath, for if I inhale too deeply it feels like a sharp, almost nail in the heart/lung feeling, like it is hitting a rib or bone, very weird feeling. Ha i know this doesn't help but I feel your pain pun intended.
