I have a 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner and want to put some new rims on her.

Or do I keep it original??

I was thinking about going with a 16/17 in the front and a 17/18 in the rear. But I dont want to have to make any suspension mods to fit the tire/wheel combo. I will decide which tire get after I make the rim choice.

No, I dont want any spinners, not looking to box the car on a 26 inch wheel, this is a classic muscle car, and I really want to keep with the muscle car styling.

My budget is about a grand before tires....any suggestions??

All I see anymore after looking now for about a month or so is just a bunch of shiny ass circles, cant make up my mind.......

my truck came with these so i don't know the name. they are powder coated so the dirt wipes right off. my buddy calls them "nascar rims". i could get a better pic for you. i love them. no grooves to try to clean. ......IMG_3508.jpg

I learned those that FDD posted as bullet hole rims, and pretty much FDD beat me to posting those. you can put them black or chrome and they'd look good on your ride but stock looks pretty good too.

Since those are the originals, I really want to keep them, and I would like to start driving this a little more and dont want to damage them or lose the hubcaps. Plus as cool as it is to have them, I would like to put a tire on her that handles a little better, something with a lower profile and a little wider.

Just had the front end rebuilt, and disc brakes put on the front. After rims and tires, will swap the back to disc as well. Hopefully new shocks by the end of next month. Then to wrap it all up with new rims and tires would make me really happy.
