I'm looking at it from an american perspective. they can use anything from a website, phone conversation, recorded conversation, pretty much anything tied to you. so.... rather than just allowing it, at least that way they can point out the disclaimer, then nothing is admisable because it is said to be a prop, for entertainment.

i agree that's it's hypocritical, but up until today I had one too ( allowing myself to be a hypocrite) because I figured it was better to have the option of using the disclaimer in the event that they did try to use any of this shit against me.

ok,,but like Zoomin said,,when they bust down your door,,and that's what it would take,,,,could you deny that the 5 northern lights plants they found were yours,,,in your house,,c'mon,,if your gettin busted,,it's for way more than you posted here,,,where I live in Canada,,it's still against the law to grow pot,,,but I believe in what I'm doing,,,and I believe in the cause,,,so I am not afraid to say so,,,we need more peeps to say they ain't afraid to say so,,negativity doesn't help,,and won't save you in the end

Whatever makes people happy, if they think that a disclaimer makes any difference that's fine, but see mine.

your right, they could never bust you solely on the information they could get off the website, however, some of their key points could come from the site, things that they needed to get the warrant, or things that specifically tie you to something or someone. I don't think the disclaimers will keep you out of trouble by any means, but it's just one more thing that could potentially help save your ass in the event that they do come busting down the door. I'm all for legalizing and legitimizing weed, but that does not mean that I am going to openly tell people I grow pot! I most certainly am open about smoking pot though. anyone who knows me knows I smoke pot.

ok Orecal,,I agree with some,,,,,,,,no I don't,,,what we need is a billion or so ppl to come here and not be ashamed of what they are doing,,no matter what country you live in,,,some of these stoners aren't even old enough to vote,,,well,,it alll starts with talking to your MPP(in Canada),,and saying I voted for you,,now do what I want,,,,if enough ppl in all worlds could do this,,maybe we'd get somewhere,,,but while a person is posting his/her pic of pot or a grow,,or a DIY or whatnot,,,they should not be denying it,,I mean,,how STUPID do they think the rest of the world is,,c'mon

i completely agree, I am in constant contact with my reps trying to get them to vote the way I would. I'm not ashamed of what I do, and I would hope that anyone on RIU would feel the same. I really wish that more people would annoy their reps in order to get the politicians to change and do what we want, but too many people are still too afraid of saying what their beliefs are, it's a shame, but that's the way it is. I just don't think that the disclaimers are necessarily a sign of people that are ashamed of what they do, or think it's wrong. I think they just accept that at this moment it is illegal and they want to do as much as possable to keep themselves out of trouble. But anyone who smokes pot and enjoys it should be willing to stand up and say so, unfortunately we don't live in a world where the majority of people have the balls to do that.

you sound pretty solid Orecal,,and this is not a hate on for you,,,I just think ,,,,,Go Hard,,or Go HoME,,either your for it,,or against it,,and if your for it,,don't be scared,,we need more ppl to not be scared,,I have only 4 girls right now,,in 2 different settings,,,and am not afraid to say so,,so do you think for a second,,that someone scoping this site for growers,,,,is gonna waste the time and manpower on someone like me or anyone else here for that mattter,,whether you say this is BS or not,,if they are watchin ya,,,they are watchin ya,,,
