Being the consouieer I am - I spend my day hours working financial markets - I spend my nights self medicating with the "Super Silver Haze" "Purple Cush" and the like. Being in a high stress positon - I'm talking major deals 100's of thousands of dollars - I take small doses of xanax; I was wondering if xanax releases blockers and prevents the HIGH and STONE we seek from smoking a good doob, or two or three...

I've been smoking cannibis for nearly 20 years and have never smoked while working, etc. I've conditoned myself to off time - but in the off time I'm smoking

Well, first off... in my experience with xanax for a short period and with cannabis, it only enhanced the feeling for me. So I'm rather certain it does not have a blocker in it, it just may be that for you... the xanax sort of overrides the high. Second, a cannabis connoisseur (had to look that spelling up) is one that has sampled many different types of ganja and knows all about the qualities of said product, such as a cigar connoisseur (Connoisseur magazine FTW) know all about certain qualities of cigars. If you're a grower here, you're most likely a connoisseur of ganja, you just haven't thought of it like that! Smoke up.

I like xanex...1mg blue pills a couple times a week...if you take it every day it starts to have a different effect on you...imo

I'm glad to see there are productive members of society who smoke the reefer. Welcome!

I too am blessed..lol..with a high stress position so I self medicate with greenery and take Xanax on a regular basis. I find that it adds to more of a sedentary high and reduces a soaring "up" high a bit and totally quells the occasional paranoia. The big difference is if you actually "need" the xanax. The more you need it to reduce anxiety, etc, the less it seems, you actually feel the effects. I have heard of a med called rimanobant/accomplia, that is a weight loss drug that was tested on regular pot smokers. It does block the pleasure receptors in your brain and in trials was found to reduce the munchies...and the buzz. I too have smoked for hmmm, maybe 22 years or so and I only smoke when my work is done and I am home for the evening. Sundays are my exception....I looooooooove to wake and bake....my favorite.

Xanax.. been on them for approximately the last 8/9 months. Started with a dose of .5 three times a day and now I'm on 0.5 twice a day. Orally I don't really feel anything from them, once I swallowed 14 of those pills (7mg) and nothing happened, apart from waking up with a fucked up balance the following day.

Right now I just IV the 0.5 with some lemon juice and I feel that onset of a slight relaxation. Tonight I'm going to try it with 1mg.. hopefully it'll be better.

PS: don't use my calculations for yourself since I have developed some tolerance for them since I've been on them for long.
