I had smoked weed almost every day for about a year. I would only hit a pipe 6-8 times throughout the day/night and the weed wasn't that exceptional...street weed actually. Anyway, I'm medium build, six foot tall. I haven't smoked for 24 days straight now. I may be tested next week.

My question is: Should I be worried? Are there any precautions I should take?

Please give me your thoughts and advice...thanks!

wellp if u got another 7 days u probly really dont got nething to worry about but incase... the day b4 and day of test drink many fluids such as water/gatorade shit like that u shud be fine but if u want u can also buy a detox drink and just folow directions.. and if u want more answers just go up top and hit search type drug test.. and theres about 5 pages of answers

Be very worried. Someone of your size, and the length of your smoking, yes be very worried. I would start pounding gatorade, not water, or mix salt into your water. So you do not die of water intoxication. I would also maybe take niacin, or just pound gatorade 6 hours before your test. Then 4 hours prior take a vitamin B so your pee turns yellow. You will be fine if you do that.

i am quite a larger person as well (not fat) and there is a bottle of detox that u can buy is only a very small bottle and it is costs $90 i no its a bit but if u dont wanna be, i used it 3 days b4 i had to have a blood/medi test for a job at a chook farm

I've never pissed hot in my life. (now hair tests, on the other hand...). I'm a medium build guy, about 5'11". I've passed a test 2 days after smoking before. Like everyone said, lots of fluids is key. But fluids, whether water, Gatorade, whatever, will only clean your urinary system (kidneys and beyond). Fluids alone will only help if you're pissin' every 20 minutes the day before and day of, and it's still not a guarantee. Bigger guys have a little to worry about. Detox stuff, niacin and others, helps a lot. Still not a guarantee. What you need to add to the detox regimen is to...well...burn some fat. so yes, our lazy, burned out asses need to hop on a treadmill. Fat starts to burn after 30-45 minutes of constant aerobic activity. so start and stop won't do it. I'd say take 45 mins to an hour, longer if you can hang, and as often as time permits. go at a pace that breaks a sweat and picks up heart rate, but doesn't burn you out and make you want to stop. this creates an anaerobic state which burns sugar and carbs for immediate energy and doesn't touch the fat. the combo of lots of fluids, niacin, and a good workout a few days before the test should be a 100% pass guarantee. be advised: don't take to the treadmill the night before the test if is in the morning. chances are your morning piss will be full of all the stuff you burned the night before. same goes for niacin. If you're still itchy and red because you took it the morning OF the test, your piss is going to be loaded with all the stuff your body's trying to get rid of.

I got some home test kits from the local Walgreens to get a feel for what a solid 10 days of abstinence would do for me. I had smoked a small bowl of my own home grown every day for 10 or so days. After 10 weed free days, I still flunked the drug store test. I am 5'8" 135, not too much fat. If this test is not supervised, ie a pre employment test, substitution like "Quick Fix" might be the way to make sure that you won't test hot. I have read that one month of abstinence should be enough for most people to test clean, even the obese. I think if the weed I'd smoked had only been schwag, I would have passed.

seriously, If you think you might flunk, you might. Approaching one month, it is looking more like paranoia! In these situations you need to test yourself. I did and it told me that I would not pass a standard drug test.
