Most of the illegal plantations were discovered in California, where "at least 484,000 marijuana plants" were seized in over 96 fields.

"Huge amounts of trash, miles of irrigation line, and many pounds of fertiliser and pesticides were removed from grow sites on public lands," the department said. Weapons were also found.

Fourteen people were arrested and charged in the Eastern District of California in connection with the illegal crops.

How much room would you need to grow half a million plants? It's bound to have a knock on effect on the economy? All those drug dealers are going to be out of pocket so less to spend on property, yachts and girls.

the money i would have made off it had they not found my hidden stash would have gone back to the economy. guess ill have to find another way to buy a house and boat.
