Finding new connects?

I hate illinoi*, for the life of me I can't find reliable connections here.
True my ex wife sucked and kept me from meeting the types of friends that would lead me to good connections.
I used to get cans of MED but the guy was horribly unreliable and often took several weeks to come through... and if your like me when your out and looking you want that shit NOW!

Anyhow, how do you guys normally go about finding connections? When I was a kid I would just profile someone and ask... more often than not it lead into a long hunt with shady cats who half the time come back with a handful of crack instead of weed.

I'm too old for that bullshit. I just want to meet reliable peeps in my local area (SW of Chicag* ). Not just for purchases but tokin buddies as well.

Any how... suggestions? Not like I can just post a craigslist add... well I could... but I would be getting handful's of crack again :P

Me just want's to burn some loud damn it!

The first step is meeting new people. Bars are usually a good choice. Start frequenting a bar for some time and meet the local drunks and use your people skills to initiate some kind of social interaction then use your skills to feel them out. Or grow weed.

Already started.. but its going to be a while since my seedlings are just starting to take off..... hmm, yea maybe I need to find a college bar. I can get it mailed to me from CO but he don't mail less than a QP and theres always the nervousness of waiting for a package.

Go check out the local head shops in your area those are usually watering holes for stoners... If you go and there are other people buying strike up a convo and go from there!
