    Why don't we go feed starving people? Are we really that fucked up that we know there are children that are about to die from starvation and we won't do shit about it?

    The majority of homeless and starving people are in that position because they smoke crack, do heroin, or meth. The legitimately poor are a small sliver of the pie. Good luck finding a homeless person or starving person that won't spend the charity they get on drugs.
