Not only was he in charge but he was the biggest influence and one of the most powerful men at Penn State. When you are a leader you have to lead by example and this is where failed and in turn Penn State fired him.

my whole thinking is i doubt that he was the only one who knew about it... i think he's just being used as an easy out from the school.. if paterno knew about it, you don't think anyone above him also knew about it?? come on, of course they did, but yet he's the one being fucking fried for it.. idk..
there was another thread about a dude getting killed for snitching on someone, and i said how fucked up it was for him to get killed for speaking out and doing the decent and right thing, and i had many people reply and say snitches get stitches, blah blah blah... why is it that snitches get sttches in some situations, but in this case it's not the way it is...
idk, this world confuses me is all.. i still don't think it's all paterno's fault and people above him knew just as much as he did, and yet they're not getting their shit removed from the school...

idk, i just think it's a shit situation, not only for the children involved obviously, but i just feel he's being used as a scapegoat by the school, and it's not right.. i obviously am not the only one who feels this way as i saw ton's of people on the news over at the campus taking pix of his statues before they got removed..

Yep they all hid it, all of them guilt by association. They were all fired for basically protecting Jerry Sandusky. They felt that it would tarnish the football program and it did in the end.

I didnt feel like typing but yeah he's right. This isnt the streets or street justice this is a big time college with a big time football program. In a professional world there is no such thing as "street justice" thats why when people get jerked on wall street they have to be humble about and just cry about losing all their money on the streets it's easy to take care of someone who jerked you.

That it is. It really is a shame that these things went on at such prestigious college. Time will pass and the school will rebuild and keep going.
