Why do people call dispensaries clinics?

You could always be the jackass of the group and constantly correct them on their errors. Interesting subject matter to start a thread about.

I think it is a simple answer, dispensery means they are weed smokers period. You would go there for weed or an something to eat. Saying you are headed down to the clinic sounds much better. I think it is that simple, folks are still in the closet.

why do people call tissues, Kleenexes or copiers Xeroxers. Its habit, its very common it the world today, if you look closely there are a ton of unnecessary or gramatically incorrect things we do and say.

local mechanic runs a Radiator Clinic. I think he wanted to open a Tranny Clinic as well, but the God-fearin' city council decided we don't need to support that type here. cn

We have both, despensaries that only have meds and related material but no Dr, and we have clinics that only have doctors....... some places have both.
