    I clicked on a thread to read and the ad in the first post said my IP address had been chosen in THE NAME OF MY TOWN to win a prize and click for details. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON AROUND HERE?!

    They have your ip because you loaded the picture from them. Shouldnt be much to worry about. Those type of ads have been around forever

    Ip address to the provider.ip addresses are EASy to obtain. Ever heard of a sniffer? Xbox360 for Example you can sniff out al ip addresses in a lobby and they can be singled out. But for what purpose? To see what there Internet provider is? Hell I'd post my ip address and it take them to my SP lol
