Drug test for welfare

i used to buy food stamps 50% off crackheads! <3'd that shit. was eating from whole foods everyday.

How would you like it i they tested you before you got any of your countries social programs??

Maybe people should be tested before checking out a library book? How about a quick test before the fire department comes to you house to put out the fire? Should we drug test the country we are about to invade just to be sure that we are not bring demockracy to drug addicts or suppliers?

Don't be afraid of helping people in need, it's good for you and good for the country.

checking for drugs for ppl on welfare is dumb... it's going to cost more to test ppl than it will save... and anyone that works in govt. should undergo the same treatment anyone recieving tax payers dollars should have to drug test... that's what this argument is all about. I've paid into the system since I was 15 weather I do drugs or not I'm entitled to this money if needed. stay high

If you want to drug test go after the people that work in the Government from the Pres. to the soldier that guards the front gate.
The politicians are the ones that make the laws we have to live with, the police that enforce the laws too piss test them and do them like they do us..

I wouldn't be opposed except that it would likely cost us more than it would save. If you need the government to pay your bills then you shouldn't have enough surplus to spend on luxuries like drugs. But IMO you shouldn't be able to have a smart phone nor cable TV and collect either. "Help I can't pay rent/feed my kids but I have a $300/month TV bill, $120/month cell phone bill, and $500 a month electric bill because I grow pot - thank the lord for the CARE program otherwise it would be $2000/month."

*Most everyone that works for the government is drug tested, the vast majority. Those up at the top that are getting their jobs done aren't - but they have jobs - actually all people that work for the government have jobs...
