...and somehow it's not debatable. It being a probability and not proven should imply its nothing but debatable. Also to what degree would you define alien? Are we talking a microbe or something tiny that isn't found on earth or do you mean something of intelligence? Because the first is much more likely than the second, or at least likely to be confirmed first.
