Snitch killed hours after "drug bust reality show" aired .....

"A Mid-City man is dead after being killed inside his residence Tuesday morning, but it wasn't the only brush he's had with crime at his home. That home was also featured on national television hours earlier in a previously recorded drug bust. The bust at 325 North Miro Street earlier this year is what aired on Spike TV's "Undercover Stings" Monday night, and that address also belonged to Brice Parker, who was killed in the Mid-City home. New Orleans Police say they are trying to find Parker's killer. Neighbors and friends of Parker, tell WGNO News the 45-year-old's on-air dialogue with police could have come back to haunt him this morning. "He was telling them where the man had drugs on him and where (the drugs were) hid," said an anonymous woman, who says she is was a friend of Parker's. "He said he just got off of a charge, or something and he couldn't go back to jail. I heard it on TV", she said. The NOPD couldn't say whether they thought the murder had any connection to the drug bust months ago or the show's airing of it Monday night. Neighbors said the bust took place in January, a claim the NOPD couldn't confirm. A request for comment is in to the producers of "Undercover Stings". According to Spike TV's website, the show airs Monday nights from 9 to 10PM, and then again two hours later. Brice Parker was killed at 1AM Tuesday. Anyone with information on his murder is urged to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111. He got caught snitching on National TV two hours later hes dead Its sad man police dont care about people's safety." - WGNO

i saw the show on tuesday.. if it's the dude i'm thinking of, they set up a sting, an undercover bought gid a buy and bust... the cops ran up on the house after an undercover made the purchase..
they sat everyone down and said we know you have drugs on you, why make it harder for yourself or some shit, so dude was like, ok, it's in that guys crotch...
surely not worth losing your life for imo...

Some people just wanna kill snitches. It's like the top rule on the street - if you rat on somebody instead of just covering yourself, you may pay the price these days!! The guy probably couldn't move away cuz it's expensive & then he paid with his life....He was in a poor neighborhood & working across the street from his house at a small, local drinking hole......sad story, bro!

what kind of person snitches and then signs a release to let it be televised? who the hell approved this show? what the fuck did i just read?
i hope this at least starts an appropriate national dialogue of some kind. the police are so quick to point the finger at people for "not cooperating" and "facilitating a culture of crime", but freely admit they don't have the budget or manpower to protect informants/snitches and even jurors. allowing it to be televised, with or without a signed release, shows incredibly poor judgement. what exactly were the priorities of the NOPD? clearly they have no interest in getting anyone to cooperate EVER AGAIN.
and if you're going to be a rat, at the VERY least understand the difference between local LEOs and the feds. the feds have a MUCH bigger witness protection budget.

imo, the dude was not a snitch.. they had them dead to rights.. all they were going to do was rip the house apart, take innocent people to jail, etc..
all this guy did was avoid having his family and his home ripped apart by the police dpt. by cooperating with them.. they already knew there were drugs in the house, all he did was say where they were...
you see it all the time, people get pulled over and have drugs on them or in the car.. cops say you're all going down town if no one fesses up ..is the person who says it's jane's weed a rat??
i think this whole no rat / snitching thing is kind of fucked up.. some one just shot and killed your wife, but according to the street rules you're not supposed to tell the cops that you witnessed the whole thing and that this jerk-off over here is responsible for it?? that's fucking retarded imo... why not fucking tell on the fucktard who just shot your family?? i don't get the snitches get stitches thing 90% of the time..
and i'm a white boy who used to go to the hood to buy drugs all of the time.. i can't tell you how many times i have had someone say he ran that way, he's over here hiding behind the car, etc on me.. they couldn't gaf about not snitching... i think they only don't tell because they live in fear that something like what happened to this guy would happen to them..

why is snitching for bitches though?? cuz the street says it's that way.. say your wife got murdered, and you saw it, you wouldn't want to stand up and say you know who did it?? according to the streets, you'd get killed for doing so..
or even better yet, your 4 year old kid gets killed.. say a stray bullet struck her.. 25 people were standing out front at the time it happened, but not one of them will stand up and say they saw the scumbag that just killed your kid as she played in your front yard cuz snitches get stitches stupid ass bullshit.... this is why gangs are so fucking prevelant and people are afraid to speak up... not cuz snitches get stitches, but because people are afraid they will get fucking shot... it's a real disgrace when you're threatened for doing the decent thing anymore..

Streets see it different..if you tell the police which guy has dope and where he has it hidden..you will be classified a snitch..Not saying I agree with it..just saying how the "streets" will call it...I do hope they find his killers
